I recently found out I will be out of state for the next 2-3 months. I have a membership with Scissors and Scotch and just yesterday I was charged for the coming month. I called them, explained the situation and asked for them to refund me and I would rejoin when I'm back in town. I assumed this would not be an issue. I have a membership at (((REDACTED))), called them and it was handled quickly (BTW, awesome place, I highly recommend). The lady at Scissors & Scotch initially said this would not be a problem but then tried to talk me into suspending my membership and banking my 2 haircuts. I told her I felt it would be simpler to take the refund and rejoin when I am back in town at which point she said "we don't give refunds". I pressed her on the inconsistency and she refused to address it or back down. Not a big deal, it's only $115, but it goes to their lack of professionalism and poor customer service. Think twice before you give them your credit card and they put it on file.
