Scott Sexton Landscaping Sexton Lawn/Landscape, Sexton Supply Never completed the Job. Took money and did not complete work. Utica Michigan
Do not hire him! We made the mistake of hiring Scott and his crew to remove our existing pavers so that our seawall could be fixed, remove a tree, and to relay pavers and install drains. Scott acted very professional upfront with great communication and started the job timely. We gave him a 50% deposit, in which he cashed immediately. Scott removed a portion of our pavers and removed part of the tree (he left the stump in the ground, when we asked for the entire tree to be removed). Once our seawall was fixed a few days later, it was obvious that Scott had no intentions to come back to complete the job. He did not return phone calls, text messages, emails, or messages on Thumbtack. We had asked him on over 8 separate occasions to email us a receipt for the deposit we paid, which he has still failed to do. It was obvious that Scott was avoiding communication with us. He made up many excuses, guaranteeing he would come back and the work would be completed. It has been over two weeks since he started the job and we have been sitting with a torn up patio and half a tree stump for this time period. We google searched his company to try and get an alternate number when we could not get ahold of him, and he is listed on several ripoff reports and other customers who have had the exact same experience with him. Unfortunately now we're left with an unusable patio, and starting the formal process of getting our money back.

I saw Scott today, new company name LRS Landscaping out of Ray Michigan. He tried not to pay me my last check many years ago. I told him i knew where he lived and would waiting for him. He paid me the next day. He is a crook, was a crook, and always had been a crook. He was working at Homedics in Walked Lake. I told him how I felt about him and he walked away.
