I am once again appalled at the temerity of Mr. Thomas Brooks of Ibanc and Chicago Commericial Capital and whatever company he is now operating. His lies and misrepresentation are astonishing and would be risible if they weren't so mean spirited and false.
Mr Brooks claims that we "took $2000-$4000" from our clients and promised them lenders. What he fails to mention that any fees we are paid are for the writing of business plans. Period. There are no fees for commiercial loans or anything of that ilk. We are writers and we help people try to get their projects funded. We charge for WRITING - anything else we do is from our own desire to see those plans come to fruition. We have NEVER represented ourselves as a loan company and never would.
Our biggest mistake was introducing one of our clients to Mr. Brooks who took $2000 dollars from him, a copy of the business plan that we wrote and shopped around and delivered absolutely nothing - and never refunded the money. When we called him on this, he promised to find a funder for our client and as always failed to do do. He called to yell at us so often we had to change our phone numbers. When we first complained about him on this forum, he begged us to withdraw that complaint, so that he could find a funder. We did so, because we always believe in giving a second chance to everyone. What did that get us? No funding and this scurrilous ripoff report that shows he never had any intention of helping our client - he just wanted to get back at us
Our client is perfectly happy with us as we are working hard with him to get his project funded. He is also ready, willing and able to confirm all that we have said here. He will be most happy to let anyone know just what sort of scam he felt Mr. Brooks was operating.
We have never gone out of our way to "diss" Mr. Brooks, but when we have been called - by many prospective and fomer employees of his - we tell the truth. If that hurts Mr. Brooks, we are sorry, but to accuse us of fraud and misrepresentation is just a little too much coming from him.
