Sealmaxx JUST did my friends deck for about $4,000. She understood that she'd be able to clean off stains easily after they treated it. She couldn't get them off.

She called Sealmaxx. They did come out to try to remove them, and they couldn't get them off either. She got the runaround when she called back.

She has stopped payment and is looking for a credit or refund.

It looks like she'll have her hands full.

If she had to do it again, she would NOT.

SealMaxx cleaned and sealed this deck correctly. No issues with our work. As you noted we even went back at NO charge and attempted to clean off the new walnut stains. The stains resulting from a walnut tree are not our issue. We in good faith are willing to stain this deck. Shame on you for getting involved with a customer where you don't know the facts. Customer has not yet returned my call on resolving this. Free deck cleaning, offer to stain at a greatly reduced rate, responsive communication. Yes, I would say this is very good customer service. That's so nice of you. You delivered less than you promised, and now you're willing to give her a discount to correct your poor work. And you have the gall and audacity to say that you're working with her? You should do it for free. Even if you did it for free, how do we know your correction won't be as bad as the original job? Is this your version of good customer service? Shame on you!

I have been working with this customer directly and offered to have us stain her deck at a greatly reduced cost. Our high quality stain will resolve her walnut staining issues. I have communicated very cleary and timely with the customer and am not sure why this is posted.
