Sears, Roebuck, & Company ripoff unwilling to refund warranty dishwasher after 2 months of handwashing dishes Hoffman Estates Illinois

Sears is unable and unwilling to fix our warranty dishwasher. We have been washing dishes by hand since mid-January with a brand new Sears dishwasher in our kitchen.

June2004
Buy a new dishwasher from Sears with stainless steel interior, heated water, etc.
Mid-January 2005 Dishwasher stops working
Dishwasher has never worked properly since.

Sears appointment between 8 am and 5 PM.
Dishwasher is not cleaning the dishes
Technician repairs the machine and orders a part that has been recalled

Sears appointment between 8 am and 5 PM.
Sears sends the wrong replacement part for the recall
Technician is unable to install recalled part & orders another part because the soap dispenser is not working.
2.25.2005
Sears appointment between 8 am and 5 PM.
Dishwasher will not drain and does not wash the dishes.
Technician is unable to fix the problem due to the drain valve not working.
Technician shuts off the water to the machine.
Technician does install the recalled heating element that has finally arrived.

Technician calls customer cell phone because he is at her house ready to install the dishwasher parts.
Customer informs the technician that she never made an appointment and the parts had not arrived & she wasn't going to be home all day.

Parts still haven't been ordered.
Sears will replace the dishwasher with a low end model or we can wait another couple weeks for the existing new dishwasher to be fixed

In desperation, customer agrees to low end model.

New dishwasher is delivered. It is noisy and leaks from the pump housing.
Sears still refuses to refund our money or replace the original purchased dishwasher on customer schedule at Sears expense
