Sears ripoff Bait & Switch Treadmill Mesa Arizona
After reading the Sunday paper, we ran out to Sears in response to their ad for a Proform Treadmill with IFIT Technology for $386.99 ($429.99 less 10% for using a Sears card).
At the store, we found out that that treadmill really doesn't have the IFIT Technology but that they had one that does for $150 more. The salesperson said he couldn't do anything about it. After finding another salesperson, they got a manager. They offered to meet us half way. That is not good enough. It was the old bait & switch. We would like the treadmill with the technology for the same price as the ad.
Since, they said no, we walked. If it's not settled, we will never shop there again. I don't appreciate wasting my Sunday afternoon running out to their store to get tricked. And I thought Halloween was a week away!
