On July 27, 2009 I financed to purchase a 2002 Land Rover Freelander. A consumer with an credit score of excellent standing a homeowner and retired city worker I consider myself to be an honest man. Unfortunately cameron and his sales people are in direct conflict with that same kind of integrity. The first Vehicle that I purchased that day after test driving was set at a reasonable price. Anywhere else for that price and with my Credit score would have been offering me 0 percent down but Cameron insisited on a 1500 dollar cash payment. While driving the car home immediately it overheated. After calling Seaside/Santa Monica Rover with the problem they immediately came to my home with one of thier mechanics and also an more expensive Freelander to switch and sell me. It was said to me by them that this model had no problems was a little more in price but had extras like a sunroof, cd changer and navigational system. They said I would be geting a better vehicle for a few thousand more dollars. After re-doing a new sales contract and inspecting the vehicle at home everything they assserted was a lie. The sunroof was inoperable, the cd changer did not work, the middle seatbelt was not working which by law has to work. The center console was broken and glued shut. A independent mechanic said the Pulley in the engine was bad. After these complaints were noted to seaside they fixed the seatbelt, changed the console did nothing about the sunroof or the cd changer. They said they changed the pulley but had no record of doing do and our independent mechanic said that it had not been touched. This dealer is a fraud and only out to bilk consumers out of thier hard earned money. He offered to change spark plugs and that was all he could do saying the vehicle was in perfect working order. Less than 4 days later the right front drive shaft went out and the cv joint broke. this was a dangerous situation and could have caused serious injury. Now this vehicle is in repair for a faulty transmission and is being investigated to see if the odometer reading has been tampered with. Buyer beware this is not a dealer that has your interest at heart. They take no responsibility for replacing one faulty vehicle with a worse one.

we took the first car back from customer eventhough they were just lying about mecanical problem because they had a change of mind

we gave them another car at resonable price and they were happy until some months later about the cd changer not working.please keep in mind this is a used car and component can stop working at sometimes we are not the manufacture of the vehicles
