I sympathize with this guy because we were financed through SNAAC two years ago. WE put money down at the dealership as requested by SNAAC after 3 months of making our payments on time we got a call asking for another down payment of $1000! We disputed it and they started repo proceedings.  We contacted a consumer attorney here in CO. who specialized in crooked car cases such as this one. He informed us that without a valid letter of cure (which gives you 20 days to pay and it has to be issued in the last 45 days) you do not have to give them the car. It is illegal for any repo company to take the car without one. So know your rights people. We took them to court and won the car and a settlement for unfair business practice . Now 2 years later here we go again with the repo people calling and still no letter of cure. I explained that they needed to contact our attorney and get the paperwork from them. This company is crooked ... I know its hard when you do not have good credit in the military but just go to a Buy here Pay here and that way your dealing with the snakes face to face.

My interest rate was pretty high but that is due to my bad credit. I was in the military for 10 years and had 2 cars that I gone through this company. Fitst one was nearly paid off when I trade it in for another vehicle. But for some reason my interest rate was still pretty high even though it was the only credit line I have in over 8 years. I had an allotment on my payments which was never late on my payment. I got medically discharge from the military and didnt have a job for 3 months so I was late on my payments. the day they repoed my car I got a call from them and said I have till 830pm to come up with the payment or my car was getting repoed. Not eve 2 hours later I got a knock on the door and it was the Repo man saying they are here to get the car. I know I have an obligation to make payments on the vehicle but you do hit a rough spot in life. And if you say.somebody has till 830pm. Then give them till 830pm. That part of them are shady but when it comes down to it they are a pretty decent company.

Security National Automotive Acceptance Company (SNAAC) was established in 1986 as a specialty finance company that purchases and services retail sales finance contracts acquired from auto dealers in the sale of new and used automobiles.  When we become aware of complaints related to the selling auto dealership, we are very limited in our ability to assist.  We are one of many financing options a dealership has, and the deals are negotiated prior to it being assigned to us.  We regret any situation in which one of our customers is unsatisfied with their car buying or financing experience.

Once contracts are purchased, it is our intention to provide world class customer service.   We encourage anyone with complaints or concerns to visit http://www.snaac.com/ripoffreport.aspx to begin the dispute resolution process or to better understand our role in their credit transactions.

Please note that inaccuracies, falsehoods, and malicious commentary may be posted to this site.  It is our policy not to defend or respond to any specific claims in a public manner.

ITS THERE JOB TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS CORRECT ON THE TITLE

It's your responsibility to check everything over before you sign off the paperwork, too.

THEY WAIT TILL THE DAY YOU HAVE TO MAKE A PAYMENT TO CALL YOU THAT WAY IF YOU CANT PAY IT THE WILL HAVE YOUR CAR OR TRUCK REPOED

Actually, they are under no obligation to call you at all to remind you about a payment.  It is your responsibility to pay BEFORE the due date.  And, yes, if your agreed upon payment is not made by the due date, they have every legal right to repossess.  Just read the contract you signed.  Those are the terms you agreed to when you borrowed their money to buy the vehicle.  In actuality it is their car or truck until you finish paying off the loan.

THEY HANGE UP ON YOU IF THEY DONT LIKE YOUR ADDUITED WHEN YOU ARE CALLING WHICH IS WRONGE OF THEM CAUSE WE ARE THE PAYING CUSTAMER AND WE HAVE THE RIGHT TO YELL AT THEM FOR THERE MISTAKES

Actually, you are wrong here, too.  Not only do they have the right hang up if you are yelling at them, but they can have charges filed against you.

Exactly what mistakes have they made?  So far, everything you have posted either should have been caught by you before you signed the paperwork, or is a result of you not making your payments on time.
