SeeitClick.it Scam and ripoff! Asks for credit card info! Beware!!! Internet
Stay away from these guys! They contact you by phone (very friendly) to sell you Facebook Advertising space. And in all honesty, the deal looked pretty reasonable and good. Like 200 for 30 days of FB advertising to promote your business. And you have to sign up now or you lose the deal. Even a personal "Account Director" to manage you.
The scam and rip off is when the ONLY form of payment accepted is credit card. I asked for bank details to make transfer or paypal. But no... only credit cards accepted and they need all your credit card details, number, name security code.
When I started questioning them about credit card payments, they tout big name companies like O2, Vodafone, EDF as present clients who trust them. Their logos are on their website as "clients". So I should also trust them. My alarm bells started ringing. These big companies DO NOT pay for services by credit cards! They told them to bugger off.
After googling on the internet, I found the site www.ripoffreport.com where there were reports of this company that confirmed my suspicions of it being a scam.
I checked their list of "clients" being touted (apart from the big names), and actually most are non-existant!
Stay away from these people. It is a big scam. Never give your credit card info!
