The information provided in this report below is based on comments made by Jessie Tieva during an onsite inspection held by a third-party verification company with no biases towards Sellers Playbook, Inc.

Sellers Playbook offers educational resources for individuals interested in becoming third party sellers on Amazon. They have been providing this service since 2008, and have developed relationships with suppliers over the years. Jessie Tieva stated the following about her company, "It has become nearly impossible for someone to start their own store and be successful right out of the gate with Amazon because of all the restrictions. For the consumer it's really good, there are a lot of people that buy knock off’s or fakes. This is why the rules are in place, it helps to protect the customers. Because of the relationships we have with suppliers, we have been able to offer our members access to the suppliers and then we have our own warehouse. We do warehousing and fulfillment to Amazon. It’s really a service that we’ve created with the platform with Sellers Playbook."

Leads for Sellers Playbook are primarily obtained through online marketing and events hosted by them in various cities. The initial event is free and to attend their three-day seminar it is an additional $1000. Ms. Tieva explained the sales and service process after the client signs on for their services, "we help source that [merchandise], we price it, we don’t mark up anything. That is the service we provide. We do all the negotiating for you, get it shipped over for you with other member’s product in a 40ft container truck. The product gets shipped to our warehouse, we sort and label it all, we upload it to the seller’s store for them, then we ship it to Amazon and then it gets marked Prime. Our members don’t have to touch the product at all. All they have to do is monitor their inventory and pricing."





CUSTOMER CARE & COMPLAINT RESOLUTION – SELLERS PLAYBOOK INC.

During the on-site interview, Ms. Tieva was asked to describe a situation where a client was not satisfied with the level of service they received. Ms. Tieva expressed that their most common complaint arises when individuals who come to the free seminar don't want to pay the additional fee to attend the three-day seminar. She additionally stated the following, "those people aren’t our members. As far as our members go, we have very happy customers. We bend over backward for them. We want them to be happy, make money, and achieve their goals. We deal with many people on the front end that want everything for free, but this is a service and we don’t do anything for free."

When asked to comment on complaints posted on Ripoff Report's website Ms. Tieva expressed that they believe the comments were posted by an ex-employee, "I am 100% certain, that this past employer is the one making the comments on Ripoff Report. This person who said he was there during one of our workshops, we looked at our attendance roll, and they weren’t even there. We know now speaking with some other employees that have since left that company that the company is who is writing these comments. It is a competitor that wrote a lot of that stuff. It’s just too bad. Instead of trying to sabotage, and if they would focus on doing the right thing for their clients, it would solve a lot of their problems. They don’t need to sabotage other people." In order to further assure future and current clients, Ms. Tieva expressed that she has been in this business since 2008. This history has provided her with an impressive Rolodex of providers and an immense amount of knowledge. Additionally, they have a trademark license in 20+ states.

When asked what type of changes they have made to honor their commitment to making things right with the consumer per the request of Ripoff Report, Ms. Tieva further expressed their current customer service stance, "we strive to meet our customer's expectations. We go above and beyond in every way possible, and help our members make money. That is what people come to us to do. Not to just set up a store, but to help them become successful. That is our goal." She additionally stated, "we really jump through hoops to make sure they are satisfied. It doesn’t take much to make people happy and provide the service you say you are going to provide. If they have a valid complaint or even a suggestion we will listen and fix it."

We have never held an event in Alabama so the event they claimed to have attended was definitely not a Sellers Playbook event. The article claims we sell products to our clients to sell on Amazon, we do not. Our Executive Member website is password protected and this person does have access as they are not an Executive Member and are therefore making false claims about something they could not have possibly seen.

My fiancé and I were fooled into attending what was represented as a free training on a Facebook ad. Turned out to be a sales pitch seminar for a 3 day training. We paid the $997 because we were told that it was normally almost 2 thousand dollars., but if we bought right then he could bring me as a free guest. What a joke! We looked at the website and it was impressive. Until I showed the membership to my friend who sells on Amazon already. He was very upset at how much money we paid and said that the products this company was trying to make us purchase from them to sell on Amazon would never sell. He said they were not "well known brands" as we were promised and had a very bad sales rank. They are selling them at higher that Amazon's lowest prices and requiring that we buy hundreds of them at a time. So if I purchased from Sellers Playbook it would end up costing me a lot of money with very little chance of making any money. We attended the training anyway, hoping to get some value and we had been promised our money back if not happy. They taught us literally almost nothing and spent the whole time trying to get us to spend another $30,000 for their coaching. The coaches seemed to know very little about selling on Amazon either. Apparently this company claims to have relationships with every vendor at ASD in Las Vegas. I find that to be very hard to believe after reading other reports and researching how long they have been in business. I think this is a misrepresentation or a word play. The salesman at the 3 hour seminar did a big show about how the ASD vendors keep a special "price sheet just for Sellers Playbook". I want to see what the FTC thinks about those claims. Considering this company is less than six months old, it is highly unlikely that they have become that influential. Oh and we did not get our money back. You have to ask for your money back on the end of the first day and we did not realize that. It was awful and we feel duped and ripped off. Do a lot of research. There are a lot of Amazon training courses that can show you their success. These people are great at sales, but seem to have no evidence that they are great at Amazon sales outside of their big claims.
