Senior Healthcare Consultants ripofft treats employees as independent contractors, does not pay or answer questions about pay worst company I ever worked for Irving Texas

I worked for this company for about 9 weeks. I went to Irving to train. They have you start at 7:45am. They have nothing available for refreshments. Just plain water would have been nice. They are very unprofessional in their training room setup.

They want you to work with very few breaks. They had us go till about 9:30pm. the first night. We had Mr. Chambers come in and tell us that we needed to study for a couple of hours that night.

Next morning you start at 7:45am. Again no refreshments at all. I was told I would start at 7:00am. the next morning for field training. It was a 5 hour drive away.When I asked when I would be able to leave, I was told by the trainer that he worked on 4 hours sleep, why couldn't I? We were released at 8:45 that night. Again I asked about not having to drive that night. When I finally said it would not be safe for me to drive that tired, he gave permission for me to use the next day for driving. This was the start of how they try to break you down to totally control you!

We were never showed around the company and never introduced to anybody with the company. My recruiter told me that it was a big advantage to train at the office instead of online training. This was a total waste of money and time to travel to Irving.

Their website is a total lie about what they expect of you. They want you to work 7 days a week. They somehow think you don't need as much sleep as other humans. You have mandatory meetings on Monday from 10:00am to 12:30pm., Wed. from 8:30 to 11:30pm., Thurs. from 8:30 to 11:30pm.

I was driving about a thousand miles per week. All at my own expense. The leads they give you were lukewarm at best. They charge for every lead no matter what. People were not told properly why you were there. Half the time they were clueless to why you were there.

After 4 weeks of unbelievable hours and stress, I still hadn't been paid a penny. In meetings it was stressed that you didn't call the company about pay. This should have been a big red flag!! I emailed about pay and did get a reply to hang in there that I was doing well and it took awhile to overcome initial expenses. A week later I received a check for 278 dollars. WOW! After 8 weeks I had not been paid anymore. When I emailed them about pay again I did not receive a response. I emailed again per their instructions and still did not receive a reply. I gave written notice that I could no longer work for them. I was sent another check after I quit for 198 dollars.

Each check had no explanation of what they were for. This check was illegally stopped payment on after I had cashed it. My bank credited them that amount out of my account.

This company is totally about control. They classify you as a independent contractor, but you are really an employee and should be paid as such. This company would make the top 5 worst companies to work for in my opinion.

I have a lot more horror stories about this company if anybody is considering this nightmare, let me know if you would like more info. signing off as almost brainwashed, but I saved myself in time.

Future recruits. Brent is exactly what you can expect when you work for SHC. You will only be a number. A low one at that. He seems very angry and controlling. I think these post are having an effect on their recruiting. Just from my post alone on Vault.com I have advised 12 people not to sign with SHC. I wish I could shut these people down from all the distruction they cause in good peoples lives. The good thing is when you do a Google search on SHC this site and the vault both come up on the first page. It's giving those who do research before they sign the crooked agent contract some excellent insite on this life wrecking company.

Brent, thanks for helping prove our point here. I'm sure you will be back soon with more of your deceptive rhetoric. See you then.

I have worked for SHC for nearly 3 years. I doubted the same as any other straight commission salesman when I started, but I learned SHC's system of success. If all could do this job, wouldn't everyone be making a six-figure income?!

I have confidence in a company that is currently a marketer of three different insurance product lines under 3 different companies that are #1, #4, and #2 in all of them Nationwide, respectively. Next time you try to judge a company based on its credibility, try investigating the company with whom you are CONTRACTED and not making excuses for your failure. You are just one of the numbers we see everyday that fail with SHC. Believe me, just like you implied, they value you "lower than a snakes belly", as you are a failure to us and only a drag on our economy and the reason why we can't pay more of our consultants higher commissions... b/c we have to pay for losers like you who complain and write hot, mis-rep business, Mr. Gilmore. Have you seen how many clients you signed up that actually kept your policies?! Less than a THIRD! No wonder you are complaining! You make us disappointed to be recruiters. I spent over 24 months in the field selling our policies and now am working towards an easy 6-figure income from my efforts, recruiting profit-share aside! I also play golf with many of my clients every Sunday. I advise you let your wife be the breadwinner b/c you surely will never be that.

On the point of contract vs. employee... do they teach "ya'll" how to read in the "hills of Tennessee"? Your last check?! No wonder it was withdrawn, all of your policies refunded! Let's ask your clients what they think of you. SHC is the real deal and I am proud that I had the ability to stick with them b/c they are the future EMPIRE of this industry and you will not be included. Some day you will feel saddened by your comments...
