Seniors beware!  These folks are a total ripoff.

In Sep 2014, I made written request to remove me completely from their site.  And forgot it.  When browsing on 2/14/2015 I saw a link to Senior Soulmates and thought I'd give them a try....free, right?  Not a chance!  Lo and Behold, not only was my profile still on the site, but there were 5 messages to a non-existent member:  me.

Then, I did something really dumb and signed up for 30 days, paid my money and completed the profile that was still there since 9/2014.  Within 24 hours I realized why I cancelled in 2014 and requested a cancellation and refund.  Someone named Ryan came online for a "chat".  He told me that the problems I was having on the site were just the way it was and no refund.  In a rather rude manner, Ryan told me I should have read the contract.  Well probably so, with a magnifying glass.

There is no way to view your own profile as other users would view it.  The user can only view in edit mode.

There's no way to know if a sent message is ever received, let alone read.

There's no way to know if any user is even legitimate.  I seriously doubt it.

It takes 24 hours for their "audit" people to review and make your profile available to users.  By which time, it's too late to cancel for a refund.

When I asked (9/2014) that all information be removed from the site, I immediately got 5 messages.  They were there when I browsed in 2015.  I suspect those messages were generated by the site staff and not by legitimate users.

The only things that can be trusted with Senior Soulmates are:

1. They will take your money

2. They will refuse to refund no matter how quickly you cancel

3. They will keep your information on the site as a tool to lure other prospects into laying down their cash.

4. They are expert in their profession:  scamming unwary seniors
