ServerPronto An InfoLink Company Fraudulent Charges Bad Service Fort Lauderdale Florida
I rented a server from this company 03/2006. I began to have problems with the server around 10/2006, the server was hijacked and was never fixed. I began to complain without much result so I decided to go with another company. I was finally able to retrieve all files from the server around 01/2007 and finally was able to cancel my contract 03/22/2007 they charged for one more month after that.
The credit card was denied for a few days (it went through without a problem a few days later) and they charged a late fee of $320 even though I had already canceled the server. I called them and they refused to help me over the phone, I had to place a ticket through on their online system. I asked them to cancel that charge especially since their own terms and conditions on the site state that they will charge $7.95 as a late fee.
They refused and said they have changed their policy. I was never told of their change and their website does not reflect this change. I have sent multiple emails and they refuse to reverse this charge. I am now forcing the credit card company to reverse this charge, and hopefully this situation will be resolved without too much trouble.
Another reason to stay away from this company, when I decided to cancel they asked for copies of another credit card (front and back) as well as a drivers license. This is ridiculous and unnecessary. They would not cancel my account without it even though with all that info identity theft is a real possibility. I was forced to submit to their request or else I would have had to continue to pay them forever.
Please do not do business with this company unless you have researched it further and please take my experience into account before working with this company.
I am posting a link to their TOS as of when they charged me the $320, it clearly states they will charge $7.95 for late payment.

One last issue I had with the company I signed up for the $29.99 plan, but they always charged a different fee every month. Here is the proof:
