ShadowShopper Ripoff charges card unauthorized Houston Texas
Do not do business with this company, they fraudulently cheat people out of money and then lie to keep them from having to return the funds. They are shamelessly making millions of dollars illegally.
I signed up for a 5$ trial for a month through this company. On the website in your account details there are preferences about renewing. One says something like after my 30 day trial, renew my membership automatically for a month, year..etc. The last button says- don't automatically renew my membership. I will do it manually. I checked the last box but what do you know, they charged my card 59$ for a year membership right after the trial was over. I emailed them demanding my money back and they responded that I had checked the button to automatically renew!

Changed automatic renewal preferences

Cassie did not change her automatic renewal preferences until after her renewal took place. We did refund her renewal fee even though she didn't notify us prior to the renewal as stated in our Terms of Service.
