I've been a member for the last year. They handled my billing properly. I've gone on several shopping trips and the companies have paid on time and treated me fairly. One company didn't pay but I don't think that I filled out the responses properly. I generally go on about three or four shops a month and get around 30 dollars for the experience. I could get more but I don't like shops where you have to return goods. Your experiences are not the whole picture of this company. I have since seen that other shopping services charge less but I've made my fees back. I'm a happy user of this service. It does work, even if they have some problems.

We are an employement referral service. We do not hire mystery shoppers nor do we collect their reports, nor are we responsible for their payments. Although we do our best to settle any disputes between our members and the companies that contract them. We did contact the company that refused to pay and they did so with valid reasons.

I have been working with Shadow Shopper for about 2 weeks now and have well made my money back. First, ShadowShopper is not an employment company and does not and will never pay you for the shops that you perform. Their only job is to scour the job boards everyday and deliver the information on available jobs and how to apply to them into your email box. You recieve payment for the shop from the actual shopping company that you performed the shop for. All shopping companies that I work with state that if the forms are not filled out as requested then you will not be paid. Even a misspelled word is a reason not to get paid and that is clearly stated also. If you still feel that your report on the shop was completely accurate, then the payment is something that you have to take up with the individual company. Shadow Shopper is not connected in any way to the companies that you will actually be mystery shopping for. This is clearly stated if you read the website and the Q&A sections as you were supposed to. Lastly, the membership fee on Shadow Shopper is not refundable and they state that to you in 3 different sections of the website. Good Luck!
