First of all, anyone looking for Myster Shopping opportunities should RUN, not walk away from SHADOWSHOPPER.COM !! This company promotes itself as a FREE opportunty, however the only way that you can participate is to pay for their GOLD or SILVER Trial or Full Memberships.

Even if you opt for their Bronze Membership which truly is FREE (as I did)-- and where you do not pay a cent, you get the shaft! What I mean by this is: When you sign up and opt not to pay, you can go to their Myster Shopping Board and look at the opportunties in your area (search by city or zip code) and you will get a Title of the Opportunity, some Buzz Words and then it will say, to get the rest of the information, you must join and become a Silver or Gold Member. To Join Click Here.

That is fine.... However, they tell you in their training material that the Bronze Users who sign up for FREE still have the opportunity to be contacted via Email by companies who read the Bio (that you fill out) if they like what they read. If this is the case, they can email you and ask that you become a Mystery Shopper for them and then you can get paid, etc... That sounded great!

BUT... in reality, less than 12 hours into my FREE memebership, I had received 4 Emails from SHADOWSHOPPER.COM that were EXACTLY like their website: There was a Title of a Mystery Shopping job, a few buzz words and then it said if you wan to learn more about this job, you must become a Silver or Gold Trial Member and it gave the prices and it said, "Click here"!

--- So bascially, I was not getting contacted via email by companies that wanted to hire me after reading my bio, NO! SHADOWSHOPPER.COM was using my email address to send me SPAM! That's right... SPAM IS UNSOLICITED ADVERTISMENTS and that is exactly what those emails were.... I did not tell that company that they could send me emails asking me to pay money to join their Silver or Gold Memberships. I told them they could use my email if a company wanted to hire me after reading my bio.

So, BE AWARE and BEWARE. Also, read the other complaints on this website from others who paid for the trial and were charged in full. You cannot just simply make a phone call to the SHADOWSHOPPER.COM people because they do not have operators to take your calls. RED FLAG RIGHT THERE!

I used to do mystery shopping years ago while I was in college. If you want to be a shopper: Call or sign up at your local tempoary employment agencies. Call your local private investigator's offices.
