Sharp Electronics Offered rebates on several models of the AL series MFPs in order to sell more of them. The rebates were handled by a company called The Express Group. Many customers have not gotten their rebates now for over 3 months because the rebates were handed over the Helgessen Enterprises!! I have had $200.00 worth of rebates in limbo now for 3 months due to this..so have many others.

I sent a third rebate in for an additional Sharp MFP which I bought and the company obviously threw it away because they have never posted it on the website at all The rebate stated that we would get our check in 6 to 8 weeks!! I have contacted Sharp several times via email with no result. The Express group would not give me any information for weeks now they give me a web address to check the status..only thing is the status check page does not function because it will not accept a street address with more than 8 characters.

I contacted the Helgessen group and they were just plain rude! These rebates companies are just a means to rip off the consumer!! I would warn you not to deal with companies that offer rebates through either of these companies. I know Sharp Electronics is a better company than this, but it is curious why they would let some disreputable rebate jockeys ruin their reputation. They should see to it that these rebates are honored on time as stated.

If you too have been ripped off by any of these companies please file a report! Legal action is the next step.

Sharp and Helgesen Made Good On This Rebate!! Express was the bad guy

After I filed this report Helgesen and Sharp issued my 200.00 checks and also located my 3rd rebate!! The Express Group lost Sharp's business because of their handling of rebates. The Express Group has taken the webpage offline for checking rebate status! The rebates were received in May and the checks were promised in 6 to 8 weeks! Nothing happened until I Filed this report here. I got satisfaction in less than 2 weeks! The Express Group seems to be the real bad guy here. They never gave me any information as to who my rebates had been handed over to or what happened to them. Sharp could have let me know also. I will not purchase any equipment that claims a rebate. If they want to sell to me they will make the price right up front!
