Sharrett Hagerstown Sharrett sold the car I bought. Hagerstown, Maryland
I took in a trade in car and ut a $500 deposit on a Subaru BRZ. Sharrett was contacting banks to get me financing. Nobody ever called me about the financing, but I got a letter in the mail a week later saying I was approved.
I go to Sharrett 4 days after getting the letter from the bank. The Subaru BRZ was sold and gone. I got my trade in car back, but the $500 deposit was locked in the original salesperson's file box.
I called the day I got the paperwork from the bank and nobody returned my call. I never reeceived a call stating that the Subaru BRZ was sold.
The salesperson assured me that if I put a $500 deposit on the car, they cannot sell it to someone else. They were instructed to put a sold sign on the car.
I am very disappointed with the way I was treated disrespectfully. Nobody said anything when I went in to give them $5,000 for the Subaru BRZ. I filled out all the papework to buy the car when I put the $500 deposit on it, and when I went to pick it up, it was gone.
