Sheinside.com attempts to make its customers believe there is a 100% satisfaction guaranteed policy. This is NOT the case.
I do not typically buy clothing online, so I was hesitant to spend almost $100 on a coat that I had never seen. So, I did what any potential, wary consumer would do: I read the return policy. "Ok... I am responsible for the return shipping, that's fair. Otherwise, sounds like most companies I buy from online." WRONG!!
I first realized there was a small issue when I tracked the package and saw it had been shipped from China. I immediately wondered why I hadn't been made aware of that detail. "Well, hopefully it's as great as the picture indicated," I thought... since shipping back to China could be expensive!
I never got far enough to calculate the return shipping. Within my first contact indicating my intent to return, it became clear that my purchase was ineligible for the return option. I did not have a clear defect that I could point out to their "quality team." It doesn't matter that a button was put in a very odd position that resulted in several minutes being required to close the jacket. This company clearly prides their deceit by allowing only returns without 100% satisfaction in the quality. Unfortunately, this company's definitely of quality is not in line with the rest of the world.
