I am creating this to warn any prospective mary kay people into a) Dealing with Shelby Ikeda (Ellis) direct and/or B) Ever dealing with Mary Kay.
The lies and deceit are so abundant yet they make it seem like a real possibility to generate a valid income using their tools. This is nothing other than MLM and it is worse than that in the case of Shelby Ikeda. She peruses facebook changing her job titles to accomodate the targets she's after for that given day. She likes to single out the medical fields because she realizes those people generally will have more disposable income to throw into her and mary kay's pocket by pushing their product. Every person I know which Shelby signed up has an ABUNDANCE of product which they require you to keep purchasing even if you haven't sold what you already have in hopes of becoming "a free car driving director". If your business is successfull you should NEVER have to keep ordering products that are not selling. That should be key indicator #1 that this program doesn't work.
Lastly before you ever sign up for mary kay and specifically with the scam artist Shelby Ikeda ask them to see their commission checks. Ask them why they would take a "free car" from mary kay when the cash option (commissions) would far cover 2x the lease cost PLUS insurance for a much higher end vehicle. They start you out with a chevy cruz which can be leased for $150/mo...
Please do yourself a favor, do some simple elementary math and save yourself the headache. Get a real job, work hard and move up in life.
