Shelby University/ Child Care REFUSED REFUND Shelby Twp MI Michigan
We took our grandson to this daycare, however after one day of him sitting in a bouncy seat for hours crying & no interaction along with watching the workers stand around & talk, while they could talk & care for the children that was enough. We watched on camera while babies crawled aound the floor into the bathroom & at sometimes there was no worker in sight while all the babies were on the floor mat. We saw no love given to the babies. The worst thing is they share a crib with another baby, that does not seem right. He also went through 4 outfits soaked, so they must not know how to change diapers. We asked Kim for a partial refund, we assumed we would pay for the day he was there and the Friday of that week that he was suppose to go, since it was short notice, however they refused to pay any money back and said she should give a 30 day notice. If you do not like how someone is caring for your infant, why would you keep taking them there. Kim also informed us that there was a waiting list for the space, so GREAT, they should not be without any money, since they can fill the spot quickly, however my daughter who has little money and it was a hard on her money wise to pay for day care, she had to quit her job. They also have a lock on the front door, however they just let people hold the door open for who ever wishes to enter, you have no idea who someone is letting in, kind of defeats the purpose! Well Shame on them for keeping all the money my daughter paid up front. I can only assume they all went out to dinner on us and had a good laugh. If someone is un-happy with your work you should not be paying for it. If Kim paid for something and it was not what she was expecting or was told, she would want her money back. It is a shame that everything even the care of your children is only money, no compassion from these people. You are giving them your greatest love and they could careless.
