I was completely shocked when I read this report. I have personally purchased 2 chihuahuas from Sherri, and know 3 other people who have purchased pups as well. I have been to Sherri's house several times and have yet to see the "puppymill" in action. Her home is very nice, clean, and very well suited to the animals that live there. All of the puppies that come from her home are very friendly, sweet, clean, healthy, and happy. She is very careful in her selection of dogs to breed, and carefully weeds out any and all known genetic defects and/or unfavorable traits. I would like to see a "puppymill" that would do this, or even care enough to take the time. She is a very passionate advocate for animals in general and truly puts their best interests first and foremost. She carefully interviews and screens all potential new "parents" and takes great care in making sure that the customer is well educated and informed about the breed they are purchasing. I am apalled that any person out there could sleep at night after slandering such a wonderful, caring person without ever having visited her home or really knowing who she is as both a person and a business owner. Sherri always puts the animal first and I have not known her, on ANY occasion, to put money first. All of her animals are her babies and she loves each and every one of them as such. Any animal would be lucky to have her as a "mommy"! That being said, I would like to address the comments made by this supposed "legal aid" person. I find it very hard to believe that this person is truly a paralegal or lawyer. Although credentials were never mentioned, it is my understanding that legal aid does not employ the layperson. For someone who is supposed to be educated in "legal speak", respectively, I found his/her rebuttals to be very poorly written. There were many spelling, grammatical, and structural errors. As a person who is supposed to be representing others legally, I would be very afraid to use this person for ANY advice. I suspect that the "legal aid" person is in fact the initial complaintant, Dyann. One final comment: I can attest that Sherri's business is in fact still open and doing great, as well as all of her wonderful animals.

sherri blain has so much love for her dogs and the ones she grooms. I have been going to her for 2 years for my pom and she does wonders with the hair. Sence i bought the dog from her. I have sent other friends to her for other types of dog and all of them have had no problem going back to sherri for other dogs she has. Its not about the money for sherri its the joy of the dogs bring smiles to everyones face when they see them. so I do not understand what the mess is about.

My dealings with her cost me alot of money. She cares about no one but herself, especially not her dogs!

She also stated in one of the Rip off fictional reports I have left nasty messages along with my BF! Do you have them because its not me or him for that matter! Prove that LIE FACT I bought a dog and got ripped off by dyann Callahan off of puppyfinders. Mrs Callahan right now has a negitive review from somone on puppyfinders. Im sure she will earse before anyone can see it like she did mine but I copied it. FACT None of the people that wrote in for me on this report cut Mrs CAllahans dogs down or name called. They wrote in because they were angery someone could write such lies about me. And they have done business with me and know how much I love my dogs and what I do! FACT This needs to stop! And it needs to stop now. This crap is getting us no where but giving me more to take to court. I have never said one word about Sakkarra's dogs But that CFJ was to big to show! I love Justice he is big and beauitful and sweet and smart. How that for a cut down Dyann! AND DYANN CALLAHAN WAS A INTERNET VICTIM IN THIS I have followed along this as I am a legal aide and have helped on Dyann's side to retrieve the property that belonged to her and help with legal advice per KY law in relations to this ongoing situation. I fully believe Dyann was targeted as a victim and am VERY glad to see Sherri Blain Dtails is out of business and no longer dealing puppies, victiming unsuspecting breeders and blackening their name. Dyann Callahan's dogs are out being shown and doping well while this scammer was shut down- THAT should say it all! No business or breeder would ship a dog while the buyer just got its ownership in its name hours before THEN files a refund. With a refund in progress- WHO would ship the item? the dog was a pet supposed to go to a pet home..not a dealer who was dishonest in representing herself to scam breeders. no shipping was paid, or any fees to ship - Dyann was to guarantee it. Dyann notified her June 08, as I wrote the papers, if she returned the ownership papers of Beijing as a refund was in progress- she would refund. THE REASON PAYPAL ISSUED MONEY BACK AND NOT DYANN IS THAT SHERRI BLAIN KEPT DYANNS PROPERTY(DOGS OWNERSHIP PAPERS) FROM APRIL O7 TO JULY 08 WHEN JILL Z -AKC CASE MANAGER-REPOSSESSED BEIJINGS PAPERS AND GRANTED THEM TO DYANN!! DYANN RENAMED HER SAKKARRA THATS WHAT I THOUGHT IN AUGUST 08. AKC HAD TO TAKE THE PAPERS FROM SHERRI AS WITH MONEY BACK 6 MONTHS PRIOR AND ANOTHER DOG , SHERRI STILL WOULDNT SEND THE PAPERS FROM THE PAYPAL TRANSACTION. Dyann did send a dog at Sherri's request to try and make peace as she was falsely told that Sherri would cease contact, SHOW HIM, and print a RETRACTION STATEMENT ON HERE. THAT WAS A LIE. SHE NOTARIZED IT! ALSO, no mention of Justices 'quality' was mentioned until he was over 5 months, 2 WEEKS after his papers were signed over. Sherri wrote dyann when she advertised a litter, to get another I am SURE, and asked her what 'she was going to do about it'. This person never has set foot in the ring and was selling 'designer' mixed breeds...and Dyann thought it was a peace offering..but no... she was just trying to get something else FREE in my opinion. At 6 months she never taped his ears INSURING HE COULDNT BE SHOWN, AND BLAMES DYANN AND SLANDERS HER KENNEL MORE SAYING HE WASNT SHOW QUALITY. HE A BEAUTIFUL DOG ADN RUINED BY HER OUT OF SPITE AND LAZINESS. Look above at the contract, I dont think it mentions anything but health and it sure conflicts with the claim of paying '2200' for him. I see that Sherri Blain has a free quality dog, money back on pet she purchased..and shows her level of class in her ranting statements. Dyann herself has been harrassed up until oct 2008...months AFTER a signed notarized statement to cease and desist, so much she had to file a police report on harrassment and threats with CO case 2008-11262 order of restraint. Thats why she has tried and take the high road and not responded to the verbal abuse and harrassing on this forum, but I know her professionally and hate this trash kept going on and on as she has gotten away with it! Dyann tried to do what was right, but was a victim of internet scamming- it started as she wouldnt ship a puppy as a refund was put in progress after she signed over its ownership- all the same day!! A licensed dealer had said she owned 3 dogs to scam her...every breeders nightmare. Sherri Blain KEPT the dogs ownership papers a YEAR saying she was ripped off, until AKC TOOK them back, the whole reason Sherri wouldnt ask the judge for monies on the pet- she had the property from the transaction STILL and had her money back! I am sorry but Dyann shouldnt have been victimized like this, as some bit of trash thought she could take advantage and did, let it show you how to protect yourself from Internet scammers. Chinese Crested are expensive and people are willing to go to extremes to get a source of income! Feel free to write me, I have the proof of everything I said and documentation. Well I recieved a puppy from Dyann/www.Sakkarra.com in April which I graceously took for the $2400 lawsuit I won for slander, harrassment and other things. I didnt want Sakkarra to have a huge out of pocket expense, so I settled for a puppy. I was leary due to so many lies Dyann told me but I gave her the benifit of the doubt. (shame on me!) First the puppy our agreement on was to be a girl which I had two choosen,but then dyann stated the breeder got first pick. Ok I understood that being a breeder myself. When I spoke to the Breeder that owns the sirer (this was alittle later on) of this litter I choose from,she got paid a fee not a puppy so what breeder got to pick????? So I got the female that was left. No grips here Because she was cute! Then again a few days before shipping I get the Dyann Callahan bag of excuses. Long story short all of a sudden the pup has a bilateral herina and she cant be shipped. Did I believe this HELL NO. After a long bitching session from me (I think it was justified after all the lies) I said I would take the male which is COLORADO FINAL JUSTICE. He was very cute too! Right before shipping more excuses more lies OMG I was just fed up with this KY breeder I could of puked! Finally the dog was shipped! It was a long battle with Dyann, full of lies and deception a total game. You would think it would be over right??? Wrong! Then she held my puppies AKC papers and played word games with the contract we made. Mrs Callahan breeched this contract so many times its sad. Mrs Callahan wanted me to write on the rip off report that she paid me back and I was not ripped off. Well this was a total lie. Pa pal paid my money back to me and Dyann/Sakkarra.com had no out of the pocket expense (I recieved a document from paypal) so indeed Sakkarra got a free $745.00! I was RIPPED OFF BY SAKKARRA! when I refused to write the statement I was not ripped off it sent Dyann into a tail spin. I wont write lies! So yes if it wasnt for Pay Pal paying my money due to me gripping my a*s off I would of never seen the money except in court. Pay pal ended up paying me back right before court and I called pay pal and told them if the judge grants me the price of the dog I would send Pay pal the $745 Because they should not suffer the loss due to Sakkarra's dishonesty! Sakkarra was more then happy to rip me off, pay pal never took $745 out of there account so they got free money now didnt they. I named my puppy "Colorado Final Justice" I think which is a very fitting name. So again another fight with this Ky breeder! So I had to threaten lawsuit which I was very prepared for! I pesterd AKC until recieving my akc full registration for Colorado Final Justice. Then Mrs C/Sakkarra says the father of my pup has genitic defects and the owner is retireing him because of it so watch out for the pups he sirers. Little to say IT WAS A LIE! I wrote the breeder which was none to pleased with Dyanns comments about her campion sire. Any way to make a long long long story of lies deception and games I have a puppy. Justice is NOT show quailty (I had him evaluated) but diffitley a show quality price. Justice is a sweet loveable BIG pup but I would love a dog with two heads and no legs. I also had Justice DNA tested and to my suprise but also to my happiness he matches his parents dna. The father who does not belong to sakkarra is exceptional! NOW IS THIS OVER? lets just hope Dyann/Sakkarra lets it go because I dont want to fight anymore but if she continues to drag my good name through the mud out of spite I will fight her with everything I have! I want everyone that reads this FICTIONAL STORY about MY so called puppymill to please check out Dyann on this rip off report. You will see when you pull up her report that the Judge found in my favor on the lawsuit for nummerous infaction by Mrs C------. I WANT EVERYONE TO KNOW I AM NOT A PUPPYMILL! I LOVE MY DOGS AND HAVE MANY MANY MANY REFERENCES. THIS IS A STORY AND THATS ALL IT IS IT WAS FOUND TO BE UNTRUE AND JUST PLAIN VENDICTIVE! This has been very painful for me to endure all the nasty words and names Mrs C------ has attacted to my good name. This started because I bought and paid for a chinese crested puppy in full and Mrs C------ was dishonest in her business dealings with me and wouldnt ship my puppy. Now instead of the $745 that i paid for this darling little dog she owes me $2200 because she could not control herself and wrote such trash about myself and my business which she knows nothing about. Sheri Blain is a very professional breeder. If she is the owner of a Puppy Mill it rates up there with a five star hotel. I have purchased two pups from this breeder and will go no where else in the future but to Sheri Blain. If it were a puppymill you wouldnt be allowd to see the area that the parent and pups are housed, inside, her home. You would be shoed from the area. She has the highest knowledge to the breeds she sells. My vet in Denver was amazed at the knowldge we learned from Sheri before we brought our first pup home and what we learned with the addition of our second pup. Sheri shows the utmost love to all her babies, whether being used to breed or one of the pups. The interview process she uses when you inquire about one of her pups for sale , makes sure that the pups are going to home where they will continue to receive the love and care that they have received from her. You could not ask for a better person to be in this bussiness, many just feed the dogs, breed, and sell but not Sheri Blain, she loves each and every animal she comes into contact with. Her areas are clean, and her animals, all of them shine with love form the wonderful care they have received. Thank You, know your facts first Nan

Sherri Blain is my mother and I have been around her and animals all my life. Never once have I seen her abuse an animal. Over the years she has taken strays and rescues and any animal that has needed a home or care. She is far from money hungary she has put her self out to take care of the animals in her care and has never hesitated to do so. I have worked with her over the years in her grooming business and watched her grow in her breeding business and have never once heard a negitave word from anyone about the way she is with animals. I have had many friends who have worked for her and learned alot from her as well. I have seen her with customers from her breeding business she would never let a dog go to a home that she did not feel would be taken care of and safe. As for a "puppy mill" I have seen them before and her home with the dogs is far from what they look like. She has called me upset when one of the babies is sick, there are breeders out there could care less, not my mom she has kept dogs that you could not use to breed. She treats every animal as one of her children. My mom is a great person and loves animals more then any one I have ever known. To hear some one say such slanderious words is hurtfull and absurd.

These are slanderous words coming from a person who does not even know Sherri. I have known and worked with Sherri for 30 years now and I know for a fact that she does NOT run a puppy mill she takes very good care of all her dogs. There has been many many time she has canceled many dinner and lunch plans with me just to take care of a sick or pregnant dogs. Sherri's life is her dogs! I also know she loves dogs so much that she has even volunteered to groom several dogs from the Longmont Animal Humane Society. As for the comment about her being a theif and money hungry I fully have trusted Sherri with every thing I own, she has taken care of my house when I took vacations and taken care of all of my pets, she is not money hungry she has often spent thousands of dollars on her dogs at the veterinarians and buys them the finest foods, she also takes on rescue dogs at her own expense her only reward is finding good homes with no money exchanged. Sherri is a good, honest person with lots of integrity and I can honestly tell you she loves her dogs more than most people.

I have been a customer of Sheri's for several years now. She groomed my Chow, a breed some people won't touch. She is very knowledgable about animals, especially dogs. Her home is definately not a puppy mill. Her dogs are cared for better than some people are. They have an inside area and a large fenced backyard in a quiet neighborhood. I would trust my dog in her care anytime. It is sad that someone can come along and say horrible things about her without ever meeting her or seeing her residence. Besides, she certainly kept Sheri's money and the dog. Who's doing the ripping off here!? Her life revolves around her dogs. She takes very good care of her dogs. I would buy one of her dogs, but I like bigger dogs. Sheri cares way too much for her dogs to overbreed them. She doesn't just let anyone adopt her dogs. I would like to make a statement regarding the professional customer relationship that I personally have had with Sherri Blain in Colorado in person. I read the report filed against Sherri Blain and wish to state the following: I have no knowledge regarding the business relationship and agreements that Sherri Blain and Dyann Callahan had between each other so I cannot comment on that, however, I do have first hand experience and knowledge regarding certain issues stated in the complaint against Sherri Blain. In December 2006 my husband and I signed a contract with Sherri Blain in order to purchase two male pomhuahuas from her. We do not know Sherri on a personal level only a professional level regarding our purchase from her of our two male dogs and she has groomed our Persian cat once at her grooming studio. We moved so we are not close to where Sherri lives now. I have just recently consulted with her again via email regarding her professional opinion on the care of baby chihuahuas as we have four little ones here now. She is always very cordial, considerate, and helpful with any information she can give regarding all her experience with this small breed. We have found her information to be consistently accurate and effective. From first-hand experience, I can tell you truthfully that I have never seen a more responsible dog breeder. Ms. Blain was very thorough in her scrutiny as to prospective buyers. We were required to come and sit with the puppies in her presence in her home and were definitely approved only after we met certain criteria since the Pomhuahuas are very fragile dogs and do not belong in just anyone's hands. In other words Sherri Blain in our opinion is in no way "money" motivated regarding her business with puppies. All we saw was her motivation for the welfare of her puppies, and for that matter, all animals in general. We run a 501 (c) 3 non-profit animal sanctuary so I am not easily fooled by people's character when it comes to animal welfare. There was absolutely no evidence that Sherri Blain is in the puppy mill business. We had bought a female chihuahua several years before this who had come from Kansas and a puppy mill situation and know the difference. Our female had many health issues that we still deal with to this day. The two male Pomhuahuas that we purchased from Sherri Blain at Dtails were healthy, happy and well socialized. We personally observed the care, kindness, and professionalism that Sherri Blain demonstrates in her business. The premises were immaculate, the puppies were well-cared for in everyway and we observed no evidence of a puppy mill environment. I hope this report will shed some light on Ms. Blain's character as my husband and I found her to be totally committed to her business Dtails in every way. I have been to Miss Blain's home and found it an immaculately clean and a happy place for her puppies. I personally purchased a puppy from her, went back a year later and purchased another one I was so happy with the first. I have no idea what the lady in the complaint is talking about. I also know that the lady in the report has not ever been to Colorado much less Miss Blain home. Where does she get her information from? My puppies from Miss Blain are now 1 and 2 years old. My vet commented on the wonderful temperment and health of these dogs. (chihuahua's are not my vet's favorite breed) Miss Blain's yard is very clean and she lives in a quiet residential area. No puppy mill here. She is knowledgeable and caring with her dogs. She asked me all the right questions and we spent many hours on the phone before a decision was made by BOTH of us regarding the purchase of one of her special puppies. Trust me I have seen puppy mills before with small dogs being raised in rabbit hutches out doors in the snow. sad sad indeed. I wonder if this lady who filed the complaint has a hidden agenda? I never knew this site existed.It saddens me that no one checked out the rantings of the person who filed the complaint to see if they were legitimate? It concerns me that any lunatic with an ax to grind can file a complaint.. I would not hesitate (and I do whenever someone asks me where my babies came from) to recommend Miss Blain in good conscience and with complete faith. Good quality even tempered Chihuahua's are hard to find. It took me over a year and searching many states, and speaking to many people who raised Chihuahuas(some of these places were indeed bad) to find Miss Blain and I consider her and her puppies true treasures. I recieved a contract with my puppy spelling out Miss Blain's guarantee and her responsibilities regarding the puppy. It also told me exactly what my responsibilites were in caring for the puppy. I recieved a lovely puppy care package with a homemade blanket, toys, food and pet care information. Also the vaccine record and health certificate from her veterinarian. I couldn't be happier with my Chihuahua darlings.

Dyann Callahan at lil dragon cresteds or Sakkarra Is vendictive. I purchased a puppy from her on may 19 2007 never recieved the puppy or my refund. Paypal has ruled in my favor for a refund and Dyann Callahan dosnt have the funds in the account. Dyann Callahan dares to call me a puppymill and Dares to say i steel dogs for money. PROVE IT. I am inspected by American Kennel Club, State, and Local animal control. Passed all with flying colors. Dyann Callahan has never seen a puppy or seen my place of business. Prove your Lies Mrs Callahan. Mrs Callahan Is mad because i will not drop this Law suit and i will Stick up for all buyers and Good Breeders. On Sept 7 the truth will come out and Mrs Callahan will be pay for her Lies!

Dyann **** how dare she call me a puppy mill! This is a bold face lie! I have e-mails stateing the price of the puppy i bought from her and the total was $745 plus i pay for shipping.
