The main complaint I have is using Windows ME. The computer has worked well and I'm still using it but with Windows XP Home installed.I new nothing about computers and I put this one through alot.I've crashed many times within the first 6 months. After 6 months the only tech. help I needed was a OS disc that did not come with my system.Promise Technologies were the warranty and service providers. They sent me the OS for Windows ME.I reinstalled the system and it worked for another year without hardware problems. I am still using the same computer with XP,High speed internet service and seven pieces of hardware hooked into USB hub.This computer is fine for me and I still have the original 19 inch monitor working.If these unhappy customers want to know a rip-off I bought IBM 3.1 computer in 1995 for $2000.00 and never understood how to use it.I sure wished I would've started with Windows 95!

after reading the numerous complaints about these computers, i had to reply. i too watched the shop nbc computer show with jim and was impressed with the computer. i purchased it after watching the show a few times. i also went to computer stores and read advertisments, but didnt find anything that compared to what shop nbc was selling. i never purchased from them before or heard anything about them, good or bad. after my order was placed, i found this site and read what others said about their experiences. i started feeling a little worried, so i called viscom just to see how easy it would be to return the system. it was simple, so i waited for the system to arrive, now feeling somewhat relieved. when i recieved it (in about 12 days) i was very impressed. everything was there and worked just as they said it would. i love it. to me, it is a perfect system. i use it every day. i have absolutly no regrets what so ever. i will say, however, i dont partically care for the way jim presents it. he seems like a snake oil salesman. but in my opinion, it is an excellent system.

In response to all of the problems reported about the V2 Premier.. I have not had any issues. I received all computer parts, instructions, hardware, software and knowledgeable information when I called the company. It took about half an hour to get through but what technical support line doesn't on a busy day? The most issue I had with getting this computer was with Shop NBC. The order took WEEKS to complete; the customer service line was always inaccessible. Their website was atrocious and had zero help available. The product itself was exactly as promised. The digital camera was a low megapixel but what do you expect for free? The overall price was pretty decent considering I opted for the flat screen monitor. Calm down people it can be a good product. In fact, after I read this and other reports I asked the Viscom rep for RMA information just in case I had to send it back. I received no hassle from him and the package came in the mail about a week later. It was not needed.
