For over two years I participated in an incentive program - SHOPPERS' HOTLINE - where I had to scan everything I bought on their scanner. I was going to do this until I had enough points to get something decent because it was really a pain - especially on grocery shopping day.

I did this and in July I ordered two gift cards and a few days later I cancelled my membership.

In October I hadn't received my cards so I called them and they said they mailed them to me a long time ago. I told them I never received them but they said they couldn't mail them to me again - that I would lose them unless I could give them another address to mail them to. I didn't want to involve anyone else, but I certainly wasn't going to lose them so I gave them my daughter's address. After waiting a month I still had not gotten anything so I called back.

This time they told me they were not issuing gift cards anymore, that if I waited another month they could issue me a debit card. A month passed and when I called back they told me they were updating their system and I would have to wait another month.

Somewhere in all this they had me wait another month while they investigated the matter. I was blocked from accessing my account since I had cancelled my membership so I couldn't do anything.

This past week their system was supposed to be updated to send debit cards out and when I called on 11/17/07, as instructed by the last customer service representative, I was put off again. I asked to speak to a supervisor - which I should have done long before this - and was given some lame excuse but that someone would call that day. I told the woman that nobody would call me - nobody ever did. I don't know what she said - actually for most of our conversation - because her English was so poor and I was getting tired of politely asking her to speak more clearly and slowly. Anyway, of course nobody ever called me.

All I want is my debit card that they owe me for the two years of working for them. I have my ID number and the order numbers for the two gift cards I ordered. I have done nothing to anger them (until the last phone call when I was furious) or to violate the terms of the program so I don't know why they are refusing to send me what I earned.

When I was doing their work they were always nice to me but now they are gypping me. I feel totally used and violated. I am not asking for anything I don't deserve and they just keep blowing me off. I don't know what else to do from here on except to warn people to keep away from them. They have proven themselves to be completely unreliable.
