Showtime Auto Transport Showtime Auto Transport Inc. COMPANY IS A SCAM; LIES-LIES-LIES; DO NOT USE! Miami , Florida
I placed a request for a quote for an auto transport company to transport my vehicle from Miami, FL to TN. Of course, I reviewed the quote and had many responders but Showtime Auto Transport was one that was extremely lower than most others and called me "numerous" times begging for my business. Well, I explained the timeline and when I needed my vehicle moved. After a few days of thinking about it and continuing to get calls, I agreed to allow Showtime Auto Transport move it for $600 ($200 to the broker; and $400 to the driver). Jason was my sales rep (so called supervisor); who told me he had empty trucks "waiting" to go up north to my area; and waiting for me to sign the contract so they could transport. Jason also explained that the vehicle would be picked up the same day or next day- after signing the contract because this trip is along a "normal route that the drivers go 3-4 times a week".
First, he would pick it up Monday evening, then Tuesday morning; then Wednesday evening; now its unknown because he let the driver go. First of all, I called nearly every day after signing the contract. Each day it was a different lie by their so called dispatcher (Adrian). My timeline to receive it is BUSTED because I've waited around on these people with LIE AFTER LIE and no one has even accepted the offer to move my vehicle. They never even had a driver to get it! No one could give me the driver name or contact info.
All of it was LIES just to get me to sign a contract that basically allows them to keep your money because they are only the "broker"...... not the actual transporter. Jason promised to call me back on Monday to let me know who and when they were getting my car; 4 days later-- I have not even heard from Jason and when I called him--repeatedly-- he said he needs to find someone else to get it and has no clue when that could be. All of his promises on dates and Adrian's lies of the driver being on his way was flat out LIES! How do you go from being on your way to the location to not even having anyone assigned? Why would you do hard working people like that? The people I asked to stay late and wait on this driver was furious; they've been doing this for 3 days now-- no one has called or ever shown up! This has been going on for days and NO ONE had the decency to just be HONEST and say they can't get anyone to do it for that price and it was just to bait for customers! All the promises to call you back; let you know what is going on; have trucks waiting on you to sign your contract ARE ALL LIES!
I asked for my money back and basically Jason said, "I'm still looking".... after he knows he lied and charged my card before he even knew it was possible to even find someone. This company is a ripoff; and survive by baiting honest people and stealing their money with promises that they cannot fulfill! STAY AWAY FROM SHOWTIME AUTO TRANSPORT!!!! LIES-LIES-LIES
