Shramek's Video ripoff, we did not get what we paid for, misrepresented themselves, poor quality, very unprofessional people. Lincoln Nebraska
We hired what we thought to be a very professional and quality video production company for our wedding video. We turned out to be very disappointed.
We were supposed to have a slideshow type video with live footage from our wedding day projected on a large screen at our reception hall. The quality of the video was horrible and the sound quality was even worse. They put a wireless mic from our DJ up to the speaker on their laptop. How rediculous is that.
We paid 1700 for the best package they offered at the time. This package was to include everything from two camera coverage of our entire day to the video projection at the reception. The specific package that we purchased included what they called a prewedding love story worth $199. We did not want to do that so we substituted that for travel time and milage. It also included table interviews and digital still images of our wedding day projected on the reception video. Those two services combined were a $500 value accourding to their al a carte services price sheet. on our contract we chose to substitute those two services for live video clips with sound and or music to be added to our reception projection video. When they played the video at the recetion there was no live video on it at all.
When we addressed the issue to them they told us that they were not able to do that service and they do not know why that employee that we met with when we hired them even told us that they could. When I said that they should have told us months ago that they could not give us what we were promised they told me that they did not even know that our contract said that because they did not even look at it until the day before our wedding.
Anyway we feel that we are owed that $500 worth of services that we did not get. Shrameks told us that we are not owed anything and they are not responsible for lies told to us by a past employee and they will not give us any of our money back at all.

I am not going to get into a tit for tat argument in my rebuttal of this complaint. We have been in business since 1982 (that's 29 years) and in all that time I can honestly say I have never done business with anyone like the person that filed this report.
