Complaint Review: Sienna Pointe Vizslas - Cathy Gallagher - Algonquin Illinois

My dog loves visiting the Gallagher home. However, that is all they do. They only visit. They never stayed for weeks and weeks and weeks. They are a permanent part of OUR family. I however would trust every one of my Vizslas with Cathy Gallagher. She is one of the most intuitive people I have ever met, when it comes to dogs. Her God loving talents for taking care of dogs is phenominal! I will continue to recommend Cathy Gallagher as an awesome breeder, an awesome individual, and most importantly, a most compationate friend. Vizslas and I are so lucky to have you as our friend!

Why does it lead to more questions every time you post. Why won't you answer any of the legitimate questions which have been raised by your own statements? Is it contagious or something? Or just an indicator. If the folks in Colorado were SO convinced that you were right as you state (and you haven't exactly made a reputation for being honest or telling the whole story here) why wouldn't they just give Rally back then? It is by your OWN admission that you gave Rally back because you could not care for him. Is that the only thing you are being honest and upfront about? Why do you convenienantly leave out even things you said on other reports seemingly dependant on whether you think they hurt or help you. Again, what have been your contributions since October of 2008? I've already addressed this elsewhere. You just don't seem to have any explanations or answers which are reasonable if at all since you won't answer. Also ties in with the whole $5600 thing. You MIGHT want to be more careful what you allude to as it DOES appear you gave Rally back and you won't address the whole compensation issue if he was supposed to be your dog as you say and that's a pretty serious accusation. DID YOU PAY ANYTHING SINCE OCTOBER 2008? For training, boarding, handling, work towards titles, anything? If so, how much and what dates? Please give further details on the cuts on your fingers. When? How bad? Stitches? Surgery? Recovery time and enough information to be able to look that up. What is the nature of your wife's medical condition that she is unable to ever care for Rally on her own? Or is it really a mental/emotional thing? Why does he appear he was only able to be with you on the seemingly rare occasions you were home before you gave him back? Are you ever going to address ANY of the questions raised by your very own statements (not just these, but ALL the others on all your reports)? How often did you REALLY board Rally? WHY do so many of these people remember seeing Rally SO OFTEN at the breeder's? Why do so many say they questioned the situation and his well being BEFORE you gave him back because you couldn't care for him? Why do you refuse provide the facts you talk about? Because they don't really exist? What is this REALLY all about? Some things that might immediately come to mind are; Money, Prestige (apparently you haven't paid the thousands upon thousands upon thousands ect. that many do towards their titles and seem to think you're somehow entitled to this), Attention, Poor reasoning skills, Overblown sense of entitlement, Selfishness, Narcissism, Control Issues. I might be able to think of more later. Who knows what I would think if you actually responded truthfully with facts that made sense. My impression of you has been formed here by yourself as I am not a Sienna Pointe family member. "In October of 2009 we allowed Cathy Gallagher, owner of Siennapointe Vizslas to take care of our Vizsla, Rally while my Wife and I recovered from medical issues. Cathy is the original breeder of our dog. In July 2007 we paid $1300 for Rally. He became part of our family but we could not care for him because my Wife had serious medical issues and I severley laserated two of my fingers in a circular saw accident." You state right in your fiorst paragraph that YOU gave the dog to someone to take care of because you and your wife could not.

NOTE: our dog is everything you mentioned. you and our family obviously know our vizslas! our little guy was and is a loyal, permanent member of our family. my children adore him and cry themselves to sleep at night, so fearful that they will NEVER see their precious pup again. nobody can treat him better than his own loving owners. NOBODY. where the idea of "abuse" came into being, we will never know. all we know is that Ms. Gallagher knowingly and purposely (as told to us in her own words!!) deceived and misrepresented us on many counts. she did the same thing to her breeder "friends" (no longer friends, she ruined that relationship as well, and who, by the way, are taking her to court in Colorado for this exact reason, to make sure OUR dog is returned to its legal, lawful, rightful owners.....US!) there is no escaping the facts in this entire case. the facts are the facts, and the law is the law, and thank God for that. we are more concerned about our dog than ANYONE on here. We are indeed terrified about his welfare and well-being, as we were presented with more and more horrible statements from a disgruntled Ms. Gallagher. Ms. Gallagher has, in one letter, told us no, she will NEVER EVER consider giving us our dog back (imagine if your breeder took back your dog, sold him to another family, and you never saw him or her again, knowing full well YOU did nothing wrong except love him or her and provide for your pet as you do your children and rest of your family, in a loving, unconditional manner), and then a few sentences later, in the exact same letter, said "well, ok you can have your dog back if you pay me $5600" NONE OF THIS IS SLANDER in any way, shape or form. It is truth, and it WILL come out in court, thank the Lord. I think we all know what it's called in a court of law when the breeder offers our own dog back to us for $5600, almost 4 times what we originally paid for him not even 2 years ago!! For as surreal as all this seems and sounds, everything we've said is the God's honest truth. We have MUCH more info personally about Ms. Gallagher, which perhaps might be construed as "slander".....but as you see, we're not divulging ANY of that or approaching this from any such angle. Our intention is not to slander Ms. Gallagher. Our intention as a consumer is to get out there and warn as many as we possibly can against doing business with Ms. Gallalgher. We are simply telling our story so that NO ONE ELSE ever has to even imagine going through this as we are. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, if we can help just someone realize the seriousness of what has happened here (and the fact that it could very realistically happen to you as well!), and the fact that this is now a very serious legal case in the state of Colorado and perhaps will be even in Illinois, we will continue to fight for the consumer so that no one else has to go through this. Of course we are fighting heart and soul for our pup, but we're also fighting for all those out there who might be potentially next in line for such an awful experience. PLEASE USE GREAT CAUTION with this company. We are planning to purchase another vizsla puppy down the line (in fact we've found a WONDERFUL breeder not too far away from us, who also has had clients come to her for their dogs because of the negative experiences they've had with Sienna Pointe and Ms. Gallagher) to join our sweet pup as a permanent member of our family. So eventually, we look forward to having BOTH of our vizsla pups running around together, being Master Hunters just like our "stolen" dog is now, winning all kinds of obedience records, but most importantly, just being happy and healthy because they're in their comfortable warm, loving home environment with loving humans and loving children to run around with and give kisses to every single day and night. We are Christians and know that the Greatest Judge already knows the truth, and we know that the truth here will only set us free to have our wonderful "whole" family back together again! We remain hopeful, patient, and faithful in our tribulation, but in the meantime, feel it's our responsibility to help others NOT have to go through the same trauma. His toys and his comfy beddy, but most of all his loving family, are here and waiting for his return. Believe me, that will be one JOYFUL reunion in this family....and we look forward to that day as if it's the birth of another child for us!
