Flooring that was purchased and installed is popping out of place and cracking. 9 months of being promised they would fix it has led to no resolution We hired the company to install vinyl plank flooring.
The install occurred June 5-15 2019. It was immediately reported starting on June 19th the flooring was unlevel, popping when it was walked on, and sections were overlapped. An inspector was sent out to review the work.
The company came out to fix issues September 11-16 2019. They ripped out part of the flooring and used new material. As the job was progressing we reported multiple issues that were evident before the job was even completed.
We formally reported the issues were not resolved on September 19th 2019. We were told another inspector would come out which he did finally on January 6th 2020.
Since then we have been told they would make this right. It is now March of 2020 and we still do not have resolution. We have unfinished trim work and and an unsealed bathtub because we need resolution to complete so we do not have to tear them out again.
Now we are at a point where we do not get any communication or updates from the company. In addition, the initial sales rep Ron Goodwin was very unprofessional to the point where we asked for all commincation to go through the owner Mike Furney.
Mike has been professional but very unresponsive. We paid for the job in full with 2 payments. $3,000 on 5/29/19 and $3,748 on 6/17/19 from a debit card.
