Silver Stone Jewellery Peter & Thresa Dorey ripoff false promises Calgary Alberta
I was given a beautiful silver ring, which quickly became one of my favorite pieces. As I do work in retail my hands are always on show, and I have recommended and taken many friends and customers to this kiosk.
When I purchased the ring I noticed similar earrings and bought them. As I was doing so, I asked about the flaws on the stone in my ring. The sales clerk simply told me that they were just imperfections in the stone that enhanced the quality. I was a little bit skeptical.
A few months had passed and one day the stone had just fallen out. I returned to the kiosk the next day to see what could be done. I was informed that their jeweller had quit, and when a new one was hired my ring would be fixed for a cost. I did not feel good leaving my ring there, and felt that I should not be charged. I then left my name and phone number for the owners.
The two owners nevre returned my phone call, but sent a message through the manager Ashes, that if I had my reciept I could then recieve an exchange.I still did not feel confident so I went to a personal aquaittance who is a jewellery design specialist here in town. She happened to have a design from BC with her. I was told that this was an inferior design with cracks running through the stone and had just been glued into the shank.
I then went back to Ashes and asked her to give me my money back. I again asked to speak to the owners who again refused; Saying that I could bring in my reciept and get my money back. I arranged to meet with Ashes to get my money. When I arrived I was told "No Way" they had changed their minds. I would not have an exchange or my money back, but Peter would then talk to me.
Peter told Ashes to give me his phone number. I phoned and left a message, and I did not get a return call. I phoned again the next day and still no answer or reply.
How can two people run a business like this. They are not trustworthy, do not keep their word, show no honesty or integrity, and hide behind their very young and naive sales girls.
I believe that the owners, PETER AND THERESA DOREY do not believe or even stand behind their product, and will continue to hurt their business.

peter dorey is a well know canadian drug dealer, who initially used silverstone jewellery as a money laundering business, theresa dorey is no longer with peter dorey and presently has a restraining order on him. former president
