We paid $1600 for a Beautyrest mattress and box spring from Macys in Rolling Oaks Mall, San Antonio, TX

It came to my home with very long threads hanging from it, incompletely sewn.

Delivery has occurred twice with the same problem only the second time was worse.  Way unacceptable!

I purchased my mattress thinking I would get one as good as the floor model, given to me for my money. I have been without a bed for weeks now and I am getting ready to pursue with an attorney soon.

Macys provided me one of Simmons products in less than perfect quality for my money and then took it back and did not replace it. I am out of $1600.00 We are also considering going to the local trouble shooter TV station and let them document it first hand on TV.  I provided pictures to both Macy's and Simmons and here is what Simmons told me after I asked to speak with or get the contact information of manufacturing quality control:

Thanks for the message we regret learning of your dissatisfaction with our product.  Our current policy is that if your retailer is an authorized Simmons dealer then you must contact them for warranty assistance.  If your retailer is no longer in business, does not sell our products or you have moved out of their service area please contact us at 877-399-9397 for assistance.  If you meet the above criteria please make sure before contacting us you have the following information to provide us so that we may expedite your claim (model name of product from trade label located on the mattress, manufacturing date from law tag, pattern number which is located on the white law tag label attached to the mattress, and bill of sale).

What a ripoff, no bed and no $1600 back and no apology. I don't think it could get any worse

Macy's was lost and finally will refund my money.  Simmons Beautyrest company still silent on the matter. Reason  - it will take over a month to acquire a mattress free of production flaws.  Have posted negative consumer ratings under mattresses on consumer reports web site forum for others to know of my experience with simmons beautyrest company.
