Simon blames US Bank for the failure to replace cards. Also Blames the state of Georgia where they were purchased. This is why it takes 60 days to replace an expired card. Oh, and yes they take over $50 in fees.???
and they say there is no one to elevate this problem to??

You have to use Simon gift cards within 6 months, after which the $5/month dormancy fee will kick in to reduce their value. After a year they expire and then your problem is much worse- as you now know. This is in the T&C, usually printed on the folder they come in. I would never buy one for any reason. If you ever get another Simon gift card, be sure to use it within 6 months.
