You can obtain an " E I N " right over the telephone by calling the IRS, they'll ask you the name of your business as well as your personal info, in about 3 MINUTES, they'll give you your new E I N over the phone and then mail you the hard copy of the registration in a bout a week.
NO BS !...... because that's how i got MINE...OVER THE PHONE, AND THEY'RE FREE TOO !!!!

We are an independent document preparation and filing service that strives to succeed by providing intuitive proprietary forms, clear help content, quick processing times, and quality customer service. We aren't affiliated with any government agency, so we work only for you, and only to improve your filing experience. And our service is explained multiple times and in multiple places before any information or payment is accepted.
We assist customers every day with documents and filings at the federal, state, and local levels, including LLC Formations, Incorporations, DBA Registrations, Federal Tax IDs (EINs), S-Corporation Elections, Entity Classification Elections, and more. People can conduct any business filing on their own, or they can enlist the help of a third party company that has performed that same filing many times before. And there are of course many costs associated with running any business.
In this case, it sounds like what happened is that the customer asked us to change their information after they provided it to us, reviewed it, approved it, and then after we submitted it to the IRS on their behalf as requested. Unfortunately, at this point, the IRS will not allow us to modify the information. The way to it at this point is for the customer to wait for the confirmation to arrive in the mail from the IRS and then for them to send that back to the IRS with the corrected information. We're sorry, but this post-submittal modification process is out of our control.
Regardless, we apologize for any negative experience. We will take it to heart and always strive to continue improving.
