simple filings THEY GOT US TOO!! Internet
We also happened to be victimized by this deceptive company. Yesterday I was gathering information for our bank ,when I discovered that the SS-4 form (application for employer identification number) they submitted to the IRS had incorrect information on it. We called them this morning to get it corected . They told us it was our fault and that now we have to call the IRS to get it corrected. The lady said she was a supervisor and that it was our fault .
I questioned her about the fact that they lead people to believe that they are affiliated with the IRS she said it stated in the very first paragraph on the web site that they are not. SO I went onto the website and NO WHERE in the first paragraph does it say anything about they are not affiliated with the IRS. It wasn't until I scrolled all the way down to the bottom that I finally found where it said that. It is very difficult to read ,because the lettering is small and there is a dark colored background behind the wording.
They charged us $187 , for what. They won't admit they made mistakes on our form and they wont correct the mistakes either. THEY ARE A BIG RIP OFF COMPANY. DON"T DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!!!!

You can obtain an " E I N " right over the telephone by calling the IRS, they'll ask you the name of your business as well as your personal info, in about 3 MINUTES, they'll give you your new E I N over the phone and then mail you the hard copy of the registration in a bout a week.
NO BS !...... because that's how i got MINE...OVER THE PHONE, AND THEY'RE FREE TOO !!!!

In this case, it sounds like what happened is that the customer asked us to change their information after they provided it to us, reviewed it, approved it, and then after we submitted it to the IRS on their behalf as requested. Unfortunately, at this point, the IRS will not allow us to modify the information. The way to it at this point is for the customer to wait for the confirmation to arrive in the mail from the IRS and then for them to send that back to the IRS with the corrected information. We're sorry, but this post-submittal modification process is out of our control.
Regardless, we apologize for any negative experience. We will take it to heart and always strive to continue improving.
