After reading these reports, I got worried. I had just signed up with simplx.com (aka simplicity.) I had paid them $449.00 through PayPal. I filled out a PayPal dispute and wrote simplx.com the following: "You promised wholesalers, suppliers, and retailers. You might as well just said retailers. I could have found out that information myself by going to walmart.com, bestbuy.com, etc. You have several complaints on ripoffreport.com regarding the exact same thing. I have talked with the attorney general and the consumer complaints division of Utah. I am prepared to gather other victims from consumer sites and file a joint lawsuit in the state of Utah. Also, I will make my OWN, sponsored website with every imaginable tag to anything having to do with your company (such as, simplx, simplicity, dropship, wholesale, etc.) I suspect the latter action would have the greatest negative impact on your company. However, if I receive my refund, I will do none of these things. Thank you and I hope to see my refund soon." Believe it or not, I had my money back in my PayPal account within about an hour. The company cannot handle sponsored, negative websites that will pull up when their 'key" keywords are typed in. I think that's what did it for me. Yahoo! Small Business will allow you to have a website of your very own for only $9.95 to $12.00 or so a month. You can go to Google.com and get your site sponsored. Yahoo! makes setting up a website soooo easy that almost anyone can do it. Good luck!

Thanks, I did not realize that Simplx.com is not licensed to sell to individuals. I have never owned a business and this sounds like a good way to possibly obtain my $250 investment back, provided I talk to the right people. Would you recommend I call, or email the Utah Attorney General? I have filed a claim with the Utah BBB and they have since closed my claim due to Simplx not responding. You said you spoke to a BBB rep, do you think I should call the BBB? I'll try both these methods, and I thank you for your info. If you could include the body of any email you sent to the BBB or AG office, it would be extremely helpful. Thanks again. In regards to the Doba comment, I apologize, it's true that I did not have any dealings with Doba.com. Their website just looked so similar to Simplx.com that I assumed they were affiliated. I believe Irebates.com is the parent of Simplx.com.

Let me start out by saying the first thing I did when I knew this was not a good investment. I wrote a complaint to the BBB of utah and after some time it was agreed upon that simplx would refund my money if I removed the negative report off ripoff report. As we all know that can not be done and when I spoke with the rep at the utah BBB about the report she said that it does not matter it has no affect n the case and the can't make you remove it to get your money back. PHEW! However they had to refund my money anyway because I was sold this membership as a business proposition. If you are an individual who was sold this membership and never have had a business of any kind you have a chance to get your money back. Basicaly it voids there BS NO REFUND CONTRACT. Simplx is NOT licenced to sell there membership as a business proposition to anyone individual. They are licenced to sell to to business already in the field. From my personal experience I would stay away from them because of several reasons. First search google for simplx and look at there description. It says up to 95% off msrp right? Now click on there link and it says up to 95% off retail. Which one is it? You'll never know until its to late. Some Advice SAVE YOUR MONEY. In closing of my wonderful experince with simplx I would like to just say I recieved a refund check back from simplx this month (JUNE 2007) for the full amount of $399.99. I do want to apologize to the editor of ripoff report in this posting as we had it out over the removal of my negative report. I'm glad it stuck but in a desperate attempt to get my money back I posted some sort positive remarks towards simplx. Now whether or not I meant it I can not disclose to you. I might get a slap on the hand. Besides I got the last laugh anyway LOL WRITE THE UTAH BBB OR ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE TO FIND FILE A CLAIM AND SEE WHAT YOUR OPTIONS YOU HAVE.

This complaint is referring to Simplx.com and Clubdropship.com. Doba (doba.com) is in NO WAY related to either of those companies or websites. Doba does not offer a network of affiliate relationships. Through our technology platform, we connect online sellers to almost 200 legitimate wholesale suppliers. Doba does not charge $250 startup fees. Actually Doba offers a free trial to all customers so they can test Doba's services before they pay any money. Doba is also an eBay Certified Services Provider.
