Complaint Review: Simpson Group - Romulus Michigan

I encourage my fellow drivers,friends,family and who ever to read this. I worked for a company called Simpson Groupout of Romulus Mi. I was let go becouse ( there insurance would not cover me) Thats Bull. I was let go becouse I questioned them about running illeagal.This has caused my family and I some real hardship. This company says they are a safe truck load company. I beg to differ.I am a safe driver. I have seen and been in things that would make you cry. It has to me. Any way I am posting these photos taken by a reliable source in the Simpson Group. And here is the story to go along with it. Now I need to be careful becouse I have been Threatend and told 16 drivers are out to get me. ( no worry, theres not, all talk) And also to be sued. (Again no worry) A driver was supposed to have been backed into and caused this dammage to this trailer in the Chicago Area.The owner of the Simpson Group had TOLD or AGREED for the driver to drive it back to Michigan using back roads. Its around 230 miles on the expressway and he took the long way. I as a driver can tell you this trailer was not safe. You as a reader and viewer can see the same. Usually if this happens the company has the frieght transferd into another trailer by a company. It may cost a few hundred dollers for this service. It is the rite way and leagal way to be handled and safer on the road. This frieght came from a company in Wi. going to Fords in Sterling Hights Michigan. It weighs about 20 tons or 40,000 LBS. If this trailer gave away...Well I will letyou figure the rest out. All this and all the risk to save a few bucks. In the long run it could have taken a few lives. My friends I am sick of companys like this giving good and safe drivers a bad name! We do not need companys like this out on our roads with our wives,children or loved ones.

Where do I start? This is one company you need to not work for. They believe they can drive trucks from there computer. They started me out at .34 mile and 2weeks later they decressed pay to the whole company to .32 They said it would be for only six months and still today no driver is back to the origanal pay.They say its paid health insurance but it is not what it seems. The insurance company does not pay a thing. And need to mention its extremly high deductable. With the new laws there is no way you will be able to keep a legal log. They have you destroy or falsafy your logbook to suit them and there pocket books. I have logs they told me to change or get rid of with posted notes telling me what to do. I kept copies of these and bol they wanted me to get rid of. These documents are now in the hands of DOT officers.I have recieved some minor violations 3 infact but no points. And none of them have been reported to my dac or mvr.They let me go becouse they said insurance company would not cover me. This was a lie. I called the insurance company and they had no report of this. This is becouse I wasnt let go becouse of this. I was called to be in office at 8am. To do some paper work.(change logs) I asked if I could be in at 815 to take my kids to school. When I went into office the vice president owner son tore me a new one. Said I put the dispatcher on the spot. I lost it and explained how I didnt give him a altimadom just asked.So how did I put him on the spot.It became a yelling match and I said I dont know how I did this but how is it ok to put me on the spot and put my CDl in jepardy along with possible jail time.Two days later I was let go.They may not tell you this but if you do any damage to there trucks you are paying for it. Im not for sure but they also turn into ther insurance company. And these trucks are Penske owned And leased by Simpson Group. The trucks have Engine break but you are told not to use cuz it takes away fuel.They use a Payroll company the only thing is you are not employed by Simpson but by Beacon. This is to cover ther back side in the long run.They say the company is running by the strings and ther are no room for expences but they have no prob with throwing big xmas parties for people of fords,long day out at the galf courses and new personal cars. Im going to update this a little. I have recieved a call from people invalved with this company. There is one part of this report that I can not be 100% on. And they fallow...xmas parties,personal cars,golf outings.Thes are things that I noticed or heard of. Everything els IS 100% fact!!!
