Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I went to Six Flags as part of a company group (OptumInsight). I was told there would be a motorized scooter reserved for me since I must be on crutches until my knee heals. When I got to the park, I was told there were no reservations accepted for scooters and I would have to pay $80.00 with $40.00 to be returned upon my returning the scooter where I got it. Fine. I paid.

I planned on staying at the park until closing, but around 2:30 pm I noticed that the power indicator needle was going into the red. Nothing was said about this sort of thing when I picked up the scooter. If I had not brought the scooter back, I could have been stranded somewhere in the middle of this huge park - I was alone at the time. There were no more scooters available.

I asked if I could get a refund because it was clear to me that my day at this park was over! They told me "No Refund" and said I could go to the "Customer Satisfaction" window.

I went and again I was told that I could not get a refund as there were no rain-checks or refunds. I said, "How is it MY fault that YOU do not maintain your power scooters???" They acted as if I were buying a car and kept going to confer with a regional manager on some telephone I could not see then coming back to say things like "If you pay an additional $25.00 you can get a season pass and come back another day!!"

I said, "Are you kidding?? Why would I want to pay MORE money? I am here with my company! Also, I am on crutches and live in Rhode Island! I drove two hours to get here and now you're telling me that YOU can't give me a refund, but I have to spend MORE MONEY and COME BACK??"

The customer "satisfaction" person went away again and came back after another long period of time. "We can offer to give you a manual wheelchair for the rest of the day." I said, "Some of the hills are HUGE! I have no one to push me! I am not used to a manual wheelchair - I didn't come here for a workout!"

He went away and after another long period of time came back, "We can offer to let you sit for an hour while the scooter recharges." I finally said ,"I will tell everyone not to come here." But what I should have said, but was too exhausted to at that point was "This scooter has proven to be defective. You haven't replaced the battery as you should have and now it does not hold a charge. I have no guarantee that I will have anywhere close to a full day here as I planned much less a guarantee that I won't get stranded somewhere in the park, requiring an enormous effort on my, the disabled person, part."

I am protesting because of what happened to me, but I am also protesting what must be a common occurrence at this venue because disabled people cannot fight this greedy money-first system.

Why don't you go out and f*ck yourself. YOU are the hateful one. You better go out and make sure nobody stole the OBAMA bumper sticker on your 1982 Buick.

Alix (If that is your real name) has no idea what it is like trying to operate a legitimate business today.  We should have the right to refuse service to people we don't want in our amusement park. Black people come just to act like savages and scare white people (who actually BUY things). The Mexicans show up with their 20 kids tossing their dirty Pampers all over the place, clogging up the lines and bitching because we don't accept EBT at our food concessions. The Orientals push and shove their way to the front of the lines with no regard to anyone else. Plus their g**k language is very annoying. The ugly and fat white people are just plain disgusting and should be barred also. We run a nice, clean and pretty operation and expect our patrons to be so too.

I sincerely hope that you don't have children.

This world doesn't need anymore discrimination and hate. Stop spreading your vicious opinions. You are only hurting people and making yourself look stupid.

We put those d*mn scooters in at a cost of over $7000 EACH just so we wouldn't get sued by some scammer claiming some ADA violation. The only people who ever use them are fat, nasty, lazy. able bodied semi-homeless trolls who have no business on our property to begin with. Six Flags used to be a nice place, now it is infested with Welfare Rat Wal-Mart Dwellers.

If this employee's attitude is any indication of how the original author was treated, we can see how well Six Flags screens for quality employees.

Leonard- I am embarrassed for you. You are a pathetic excuse for a human being. There is no way that you will be able to hold a job for any extended period of time with a mean and judgmental attitude like that.

Original Author- You may just want to take the $40 loss and count your lucky stars that you will never have to be Leonard.

It is a shame that people like that are employed when hard-working sincerely good people like veterans are struggling to work.

Listen lady, if you are too lazy/disabled to walk around the amusement park under your own power then you should just stay home. Plus kids don't want to see some 800 pound sea pig racing around in a scooter with a donut in one hand and a 72 ounce Mountain Dew in the other. I bet the trailer park you live in was glad to be rid of you for the day.
