two items of note have occurred: Friday 5/19, received word that the Credit Card company had refunded the $500. Monday 5/23, got letter from NYOAJ regarding issue & requesting more information, which I will gladly provide.

The URL is (I hope it makes it): "http://albany.bizjournals.com/albany/stories/1999/09/13/focus3.html" I sent a "letter to the editor" of that publication pointing out the current business practices of our favorite auto supplier. Their response was: "Hi, Thanks for the note and the Web site. I had never seen that site before. It is something we should be aware of." The website referred to above is this one. I have also initiated correspondence with a TV station in Albany NY, WXXA - Fox 23, inquiring as to whether or not they have a "Hall of Shame" similar to what the FOX station local to me runs as a regular feature. You can readily imagine what is covered by that ... If they do I intend to pass along all info available regarding S&J in the hopes that they'll be featured on the air.

Regarding S&J Used Auto Parts Inc ... Have entered complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and started the process of disputing the charge with BankOne / Chase, the holder of the card which was charged $500 on 3/7/05
