this is the worst mom and pop internet service there is, i signed up getting the 5mbps speeds i cant even get over .99 ive checked speedtest daily i live less than a half a mile from the tower and in one month the highest i gotten was a 1.22mbps. ive been sitting on the phone now for 2 hours trying to get help and nothing. ive changed towers rebooted my router unplugged the wall jack reset my router waited at least ten to twenty seconds three times a week just to get a 1.40mbps.

I am the type of person who values good customer service & Skybeam has zero! I had service with them for over 2 yrs after they bought out the previous company I was with, & in those 2 yrs my internet service was awful. I NEVER got the full speed I was paying for. If you call to try to speak to tech support....good luck with that one & don't bother leaving a call back number, your call won't be returned. When I did call to cancel my service, they seemed not to care & I was very blunt about why I was cancelling, the company I have now is very much "on the ball", making sure that the customer receives the service that they are paying for. High speed internet is a great thing to have, but with Skybeam you would do just as well with dial-up!

Everyone needs to contact the BBB and flood their people with complaints. I did. Now for others to join in. Their rip off needs to stop!
