I wanted to sell me Lexus and put up an add on cars.com. After a few days I got a call from Mr. Havey from Skyline motors saying that he will be able to sell my car. When I asked what was the deal, he said he will take 1500/- and will sell my car at 32000.00. I was asking for 26000. He seems very convincing on the phone. I thus went to his dealership and bargained the fee at 600.00 and like a fool paid in cash and as a much bigger fool left my Lexus with him. He insisted to have the car so that he can show it to his customers.

He had my car for 2 months and in the meantime we will talk over the phone and he will give me stories as he has been showing my car to so and so customer.

Finally he said there is a doctor who is very interested in buying my car at 32000. For next few weeks he kept making excuses like the doctors not in town, he is on vacation etc. etc.

Then one fine morning he called and told me that he has deposited the check to my bank from which I had take a loan for my car. This is when I got alarmed because I have never given him my account number.

I insisted to meet him with my car. He promised me to come and meet me at my place. We agreed to meet at 3PM. He did not turned up at 3PM and when I called his phone was switched off.

I came out of my apartment to check if by chance he is out side my apartment. To my surprise my car was parked out side and there was no sign of Mr. Havey. I approached  my car and could not find my keys I opened my glove box and all my papers were missing. I then got my duplicate keys and started the car to park at the garage. I realized that not only my back bumper was damaged and the body scratched, he has managed to put 10000 mile on my car in 2 month.

I tried to contact him again but up to no vail. I then contacted the dealers office where I came in contact with Mr. Philips. He told me that Mr. Havey no longer works for this dealership, as they have thrown him out.

To sum up the whole store. This dealer and Mr. Havey are all hands-in-gloves story and I strongly suggest to have NO business with these people, as they are no more than cheats and scammers.

And request all those who have been cheated by them to email me at [email protected]

CORRECTION CORRECTION CORRECTION!!!!!!!!! Mr. Hovey was never an employee of Skyline Motors. He was an external marketing vendor that we used. We do not use external marketing vendors anymore. .  We here at the dealership have never marketed your car. Your vehicle was always in the possesion of Mr Hovey and Starlink not Skyline Motors.
