Skype, Inc. NATIONAL REGISTERED AGENTS, INC. Credit card scam, Paypal inside deal, consumer rip-off San Jose, California
As noted on Wikipedia, Skype has deplorable customer service. In fact, they have NO customer service!!! They also suspiciously decline credit cards in favor of channeling you into using PayPal.
I don't think it's any huge leap to suspect that a 1.9 BILLION dollar international corporation would try to pull a ten cent hustle on it's "millions" of customers? What's the scam?
* Skype is scamming master card/visa first off by cheating them out of MILLIONS in sales revenue while using their brand and service to legitimize their all too convenient solution to MC/Visa declines - just use the adjacent PayPal link - it's right there!
* PayPal will no doubt subtly stick it to millions of people in terms of transaction fees, and I'll bet even money Skype won't pay one penny!
If proven, this is like a winning lotto ticket for any class action corporate attorney.
