I signed up for a $4.99 free trial of Revitalize Age Defying Skin Serum. I did not even notice an 89.95 charge on my CC bill 14 days later, from Slim Down Gree Coffee. Never thought about it til another bottle showed up in my mail, a month later.
Checking my CC bill, I found 2 charges for $89.95 from Slim Down. Finally connected them to the 4.99, also from Slim Down. Called to cancel and ask for a refund, thinking there must be some mistake. Little did I know! After a looong wait, they said I could get no refund, that I had signed up for it. Told them I would call my CC and dispute. Which I did. CC rep said you have to offer to return merch (which I had) but I called back and offered again.
They said NO we dont accept returns. I explained I hadnt even opened the shipping box. Finally got a supervisor who started pressuring me with discounts for going forward with the monthly product. As we talked he got increasingly belligerant, accusing me of knowing that the trial ended in 14 days and accepting the exhorbitant monthly billing, and telling me I had no case. I went to the site while we on the phone and saw no check box for "I agree to terms". He said "Accept my one-time offer right now for ony $89 or forget it. Ive done hundreds of these. Your dispute will be denied."
I said I'll take my chances, hung up and called the CC rep back and had my card # cancelled and charges reversed. Almost 2 months later I get a big envelope from my CC company, saying credit was denied with a multi page copy of the report. Which contained erroneous billing address. Which referred to another product page (for Slim Down Green Coffee)
I am re-fiing on paper with the CC company, with reference to this site. When I try to access the seller site now, It redirects to another product.
