On 11-1-02 I responded to E-mail SPAM for Introductory packets of coffee and coffee grinder FREE for s/h charge of $9.95 to arrive in 3 to 4 weeks [still have SPAM e-mail]. On 11-15-02 the package arrived at my office [received two introductory packets].

I received an e-mail on my computer at work within 20 minutes of the delivery at my door [12:21 11-15-02 lunch time--office locked up 12-1:00 per Track & Confirm US Postal Service].

The e-mail on 1-15-02 at 12:40 pm said "Invoice #4297 - Smiles Coffee Subscription - Amount $27.94 payment charged to MasterCard.

I immediately called the customer service number and spoke with Josh and told him to cancel my "Subscription." I had just received my "Introductory package" -- in fact two of them, and had not had time to even take it home and try the product and didn't appreciate being billed for 1st shipment when I hadn't even tried the coffee.

I also asked him to be sure I was not double billed for the Intro Package. No refusal by Josh to comply with my request.

On 11-27-02 I refused the delivery of the $27.94 order, as I cancelled the shipment on 11-15-02. The charge transaction date on credit card bill was 11-16-02 a day later after canceling.

I also sent an e-mail [copies available] to [email protected] confirming my cancellation conversation with Josh. ORDERS MUST BE CANCELLED 10 days in advance of SHEDULED DELIVERY DATE" -- didn't have one but the order was canceled on 11/15 and wasn't delivered until 11/27, so it WAS CANCELED 12 DAYS BEFORE DELIVERY. I am still battling getting the charge reversed.

Don't have product...don't want product and tell everyone to stay away from "Guaranteed NO Smiles Coffee" only guaranteed STRESS and time wasted.

Between SMILES COFFEE and Journey Pass AKA Global Travel International, time is a most cherished item. There is at least one other unhappy customer out there, because the disputed claims person at MBNA remembered the name SMILES Coffee and the other persons comments. STAY AWAY FROM SMILES COFFEE.

I received the coffee, tried it and decided I didn't care to continue. Send an email trying to cancel, was told I had to call in my cancellation. After a dozen times of no response from the telephone number given, return the package rejected, with note, no response and again last week another package which I reject with notice. They won't credit my card and won't stop sending. This is my last on-line order... Thanks Smiles Hope to see you in court, drafting letter for BBB.
