Smith Brothers Appliance Repair Consumers Are Not AS Dumb As You Treat Us Orange, California
With the use of the internet I was able to research the cost of the part the Smith Brothers charged me $250.00 for was about $41.00. Their 15 minutes of labor was $150.00 ($10.00/minute- Not bad), before I could question them, the job was done and they thought I was out the money.
I guess they don't take checks (even though their website says they do) because too many people like me would stop payment.
I have my ways, I wasn't born yesterday.
The final insult came when I found a perfectly good part of my supposed broken part in the garbage, rather than reinstalled in my refrigerator. If they had fixed it properly, they wouldn't have been able to charge me to replace a good part.
What comes around, goes around, may your reputation proceed you to your future customers, it's back to the cough drop business for you!!

Ahhh another person that didn't understand the cost of bringing a repair person to their home or what service was being performed. I hope you dispute this with your credit card company and the repair company decides to charge you with fraud. Good way to teach the foolish the realities of business.
