Just another Cydcor Work farm. The ads on the job sites lie, you will ONLY be doing door to door sales, and it is for office supplies. You will ONLY get straight commission, and you will earn around $300 a week and work 11 hour days. This site is full of these Cydcor fronts, so if you want the run down, the other reviews have them.
They will call you into a brief first interview, ask a few questions. You will get called in for a "second interview" that consists of you running around doing door to door sales with someone else. At lunch they will show you their "business plan" which is essentially a pyramid scheme with a few details smudged.
Their only concern is how soon you can start. They will overwork you with the promise of opportunity and owning your own business in 18 months. They fail to mention that many of the people who are "promoted out" often lose their own business and are left with nothing. These are the "lucky" ones.
For the most part you will be overworked and underpaid until you give up on the idea that you will be your own boss in a year- and you will never get that promotion. They constantly are doing interviews, and it's because they move people through there constantly.
They look for recent grads, and are looking to take advantage of your desperate search for a job. You've been warned.
People may post about how this job is just for hard workers, and people who are willing to work to get money. You should ask them how many people in the firm EVER got a promotion higher than the standard 28% commission on office supplies. Pretty sure the answer is ONE or NONE.
Their promotions are based on how many people they recruit into their "team" and if they can dupe enough people, then they get promoted- so current employees will tell you how amazing it is to drive to the south shore to peddle office supplies for 11 hours a day for one-time commission.

Unity Concepts is not the same company as Smith Business Consultants. The only connection between the two companies is that after Smith Business Consultants closed, Unity Concepts moved into the office building that Smith Business Consultants used to be located in. They are completely seperate and different companies.

I found out that Smith Business Consultants has merged with Unity Concepts or no longer does business in this state. In fact, Unity Concepts is affiliated with the same company just like Smith Business Concepts. I feel that I'm wasting my time and I will quit starting today. In fact, this is the second time I didn't went into work because the company is so bad it's good. I was warned by my instructor at school about this type of company and I'm glad I talked to him about it because this type of business is bad. REALLY BAD!!! Unity Concepts and Smith Business Consultants are terrible, very terrible. I don't like the fact that door-to-door sales is actually a practice, but it's not a good practice. I feel like I was slapped in the face about this company. Preying on unemployed individuals who are about to graduate from college like me. I'm graduating from ITT Technical Institute and really, they didn't consider that. They just want to know when I will be starting soon. I hate this job and I hate their business practice. STAY AWAY FROM UNITY CONCEPTS AND CYDCOR AT ANY COSTS!!!
