I searched for a magazine subscription for a gift on google. Snappy Mags had the best price and I made my order. The company charged my order in October for a magazine order and did the standard allow 6-8 weeks. 8 weeks passed and no subscription order was filled. Finally in January I made an attempt to complain but there is no way to contact them directly. I saw a posting on rip-off.com and took down a rebuttal email from Doug Smith a supposed customer service manager. He made it seem like he would straighten out order issues. I emailed him and he replied and eventually relayed my emails to a Kim Scott. I was told I would get a refund onto my PayPal account or they will send a check. I opted for a check which they said would take 7-10 business days. 2 weeks later I had no check. It is now February 27, 2007 and I have no subscription and I am out my money. Fraudulent company!
