Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I placed an order from the Television advertisement "Snuggie",which advertised, if you buy one at the regular price, you will get another one "Free". Knowing that my mom is a diabetic and my wife gets cold easy,we thought what a great christmas gift for our Mom.I called one of the many 800 numbers and talked to a man with a foreign accent.I told him I wanted to buy 2 snuggies, the buy one get one free offer.

He said" you want two orders? I said NO,only the one order where you buy one and get the other one free.He said okay, what is your credit card number? I asked if he wanted to know what colors I wanted,he said "oh yes, please continue.i said we also get the two free lights also? He said yes,no problem.I gave him all the information that he needed, and he told me my confirmation number,he said it would be two to 6 weeks before we would get it,told me my total was $27.80.end of conversation.

That was the first week in december of 2008. I noticed on my bank statement that there was a charge for $71.70 taken out from the Snuggie company.I was livid to say the least,I called customer service right away and talk to a lady.I explained everything that happened, and she said,I sorry sir but you no talk to anyone, that is an automated line and no one talked to you.

I said ma'm,I know that I talked to a live person,I have the date, time confirmation number and could not understand his name written down.i want to know why am I being charged so much money for the order? She said because you ordered 2 sets.long story short, she said I could not be refunded until I received the package and then send it back to them.Well it took 7 weeks to get to me.(Oh,before I forget, because they took more money out of my account than they said it would be, my bank account got overdrawn,i got charged an overdraft fee, plus a bank service fee!) I then went to the Post Office to return the package(cost $ 16.75,i also insured it.

I sent it off on February 17,2009 the Snuggie company received it on March 4th 2009 at 12:15pm.I called my bank and they told me that I was credited $ 31.80 !!!! and my bank cannot do anything else to help me.So EVERYONE please if you order from the television advertisements or from an 800 number,BEWARE..all total I am out money wise is $ 56.65.It's really sad because my wife and I are both on disabitity, and we have to be careful how we spend our money, like so many others and we are not on welfare. The only way we could afford to buy this product was such a blessing. My wife was given $ 40.00 for helping an elderly lady by cooking for her,(because she has arthritis in her hands real bad) taking her blood pressure and other things,my wife does this for a lot of people that need help, only out of the goodness of her heart.

She use to be a Nurse. So many people have wanted to give my wife things but she has always refused, because she knows how hard things can get.the elderly lady snuck the money into a christmas card....and wouldn't take it back.My wife ended up crying about all of this, but one thing we have learned.we all need to check out these companies if possible before buying.Good Luck to all of you who didn't get ripped off. Thank You for having a Web-Site like this.Your the greatest.
