I am sorry for your loss, but reading this is not something new, considering the fact that I am one year clean living in a sober living as well. This is hard to say, but its no ones fault that your friend passed away. We as peole have to take resposibilty for our own actions. I can easily say for myself that I am an alcoholic because of my mothers drinking, or my friends, "but its me". If your a real alcoholic or addict and you start to drift backwards, your family, childeren, job, boss, friends, kids,girlfriend/boyfriend, money ,house or HEALTH won't stop. you. What happen to your friend was unfortunate, but don't dewell on because he was in a sober living its their lives. Rehabs and centers and AA/NA programs dont save you, only you do .those programs are just for you to look forward to and follow as design. Nobody can save you, except yourself.
