Software Surplus Adobe CS3 Advertised "New" but sent to me USED and USED-UP! AND WILL ONLY REFUND IF UN-USED Las Vegas Nevada
Avoid Software Surplus at all costs, no matter how good the deal sounds! I rushed ordered Adobe CS3 Design Premium after I saw it advetised as 'new' on their very proffesional looking website. It did come to me right away, but when I tried to activate it, Adobe tells me it has already been activated twice a month earlier and that was maxxed out. I tried contacting Software Surplus through Google Checkout, since I discovered there was no contact info on their site. I got no responce.
Then I found their support email and stated if I didn't get a responce in 24 hours, it was going to be reported to my creditcard company as fraud. Still there was no answer, so I did contact my creditcard and they are working on it. I also reported it to Google Checkout and they were no help at all, but seemed to protect the scam after it was reported to my creditcard.
I will never trust any business that uses Google Checkout, because of this. Now I am working with Adobe to get proof it was acivated before me purchesing the software and are they investigating Software Surplus and the person who activated it. We will see what happens.

I finally heard back from them after gave them a bad report through google checkout. They agreed to take the pre-use software back and claimed they got scammed in the deal, too, where someone returned the cs3 after it had been activated. I sent them back the design software and they paid the shipping costs. My creditcard was refunded by them. They did seem to try and fix things, so maybe they are not so bad, but it still was a big hassel.
