Solar Bear Totally unprofessional, lied about BBB accreditation Chandler, Arizona
I paid over $7,000.- to this company for a new A/C and some ductwork. They claimed to be an accredited member of the Better Business Bureau and used their logo on the proposal form. Later I found out that they had in fact lost their accreditation with the BBB due to the large number of complaints.
The work done at my property was horrible and totally unprofessional. Their workers left a total mess in my house with tar spots everywhere, we had to clean our new entrance door with thinner. One day they worked until after 8 pm without even asking us if that was ok. They don't respect the homeowners privacy, even took pictures from inside our house without our permission and laughed when I told them that I did not give them permission to take pictures from inside my house.
The ducts were worped, not straight and had holes from underneath and the side. One leg was cut too short and would not even touch the roof. When the supervisor told me that the work was finished and after they had left, I found out that they had not even tested the A/C unit. They had to come back to correct the wiring. Then I left a message about the terrible ductwork which was not returned. I filed a complaint with the ROC and the inspector came out to look at their job. It did not meet the codes and they had to tear the ducts down. The duct work was also different from what I was told at the beginning. the whole think on my roof looks like installations at Cape Canaveral.
