sommers auto pizza boxes used where steel should be on vehicle! renyoldsburg, Ohio
Went to sommers auto, financed a 1999 f 150 extended cab 4 wheel drive pickup, with financing ended up right at 14 thousand. Thought it was rather steep, but I needed a truck. I inspected the vehicle, and seemed to be in great shape dispute its age. I crawled under the truck, and appeared minimal rust, but there was some mud on the underside rear of bed. All the steel appeared to be there. After purchasing the truck, I detailed it, and cleaned the mud off, where. I discovered SUBSTANTIAL RUST DAMAGE. Me being a dumbass, got duped into a rust bucket lemon, and bought the truck AS IS.
I then went back to the dealers, and. Informed them about the rot, and that I felt duped. The guy who sold me the truck yelled at le, and told me that duped isn't the word, and I asked. If they would make it right, and trade me a vehicle that is actually worth what I intended paying, or to knock off on the financing because the crossmembers were almost completely rotted out, and the vehicle was about to be UNSAFE, IF IT WASN'T ALREADY. Told me nothing could be done. Later, I started to remove the rust, and found that they had stuck a F*CKING PIZZA BOX IN THES SIDE OF THE TRUCK WHERE STEEL SHOULD HAVE BEEN, And bondoed over that about 3 inches deep.
The crossmembers, the rockers are all rusted out, and about 25% of the truck bed itself, was entirely rotted away. The linkage was letting go, falling out of gear as well. I told Sommers that I didn't know how long I was long to continue paying for a rust bucket. I did not make the last payment, and the truck was hauled off by a wreaking service. Sommers has not contacted me, I have not contacted them. I was FURIOUS OVER THE PIZZA BOX REPAIR. A SLAP IN THE GODD*MNED FACE. Sommers has already been in the news here for having people pay on vehicles that they didn't have the titles to. CROOKS!
