This morning when I came into work the were two messages that a man named Kevin Jones called for me. I called back and asked for Kevin and a man with broken english asked me for my name. I said may I speak with Kevin because he called me this morning at 8:30, he said that was impossible because Kevin is out on medical leave.

I said well when he returns from leave, tell him to call whomever he called two days in a row and simply hung up.

Five minutes later my clerk informed me that a man named Kevin Jones was on the phone. And I answered and asked who he was he stated he was kevin Jones calling on behalf of sonic cashnet. He said did I have an attorney, and I said for what, and who are you. And why are you calling me.

He said that they were bringing 3 counts of fraud up on me and that I would be visited at work by a sheriff between 11:00am and noon. I again stated for what. He said don't you know about the affidavit. I said no. Then he went on to read something (supposedly an affidavit) that said my e-mail, address and an old bank account that has been closed for several years.

He stated that they have sent me 15 to 17 different e-mails. I said I have never received any e-mails from that company. He stated that they have many companys. I again stated I have not received any e-mails from any company stating that I had an outstanding loan with them.

He said go ahead and check your e-mail. And I did so. Then I told him there is no e-mail from anyone saying I have an outstanding loan. He said did you check you "spam" mail. Come on now. Who in the Hell checks there spam mail. I don't for several reasons. 1. it could contaminate my computer at work and 2. it's nothing but junk mail.

I said why didn't they send it to my regular e-mail instead of spam. He got even ruder. Started saying he was going to end the call. I asked how much was the loan for and how much did I owe. He said they didn't tell him that and that there was going to be a lien against my wages and it may jeopardize my job.

My question to him is if I do owe them money. If I lose my job, then how are they going to get some money that I supposedly owe?

So don't ever use sonic cashnet for any reason. they are rude, nasty people.
